I had two main problems with it though. First Bella's motorcycle rode with a random stranger. That was not in the book. Also the ending was to just drop off. That was exciting though, I mean it was just to short. Also when you see Alice's vision of Bella being a Vampire, and Edward and Bella were running. That was really FUNNY. My friend couldn't tell what was going on though because Bella didn't look different. Over all very good movie. Going to see it at least three times.

They definitley wanted to pay tribute to old monster movies in this one, which is great. Lots of soaring dramatic music,visually stunning. The actors did the best they could with the script. I laughed quite a lot. Taylor has come a long way, as has Robert, who was not very present in the film, but gave a captivating and believable physical performance. The picture did lag when he wasn't there. Weitz has an amazing eye for CGI. I really enjoyed all the fight scenes. The wolves in action are spectacular. Kristin didn't hyper-ventilate, which was good, but ,sadly the ending was rushed. Overall, I would recommend seeing New Moon. I think if you didn't like Twilight, you would enjoy this installment.

The movie was really awesome... didn't like so much how it ended though. So far I still like the books better then both of the movies. The director did a great job with the wolves. As far as the screenplay, I don't know why they didn't take it straight from the book. Over all it was good. I still love it.

I am a twilight fan, I have read all the books, and bought advanced tickets for both the first movie and New Moon.
This movie was just plain mediocre.
There was very little emotion in this movie. I still didn't feel like Bella and Edward were even in love, and they seemed indifferent when they were reunited.
Also, it wasn't realistic. People don't pause, and use awkward phrasing in real life, they blurt things out, and say things they might regret later, just like in the book.
It followed the book more closely than the previous one, but I found it lacking something.
We can only cross our fingers for Eclipse.

This movie has the excitement the young men are looking for and the creative intense moments the girls are looking for. As my sister put it, "This movie will put a teenagers straight into puberty!" Pre-teen emotions spring into action while taking in the New Moon. If your older it reminds you of your first kiss or crush and brings back the broken heart of a break up without a lot being said. The intensity is over the top when Bella is in the room with either boy.

loved it. Ive read all of the books, and although the first twilight movie wasnt soooo great (probably because of lack of budget)...the second one was great. Although, does anyone else notice in this movie that there is a lot of dead silence between Edward and Bella? Hm, just wondering.

The movie lacks character development and some key moments from the book. Things are changed from the novel and the first 40 minutes seems to drag on. It was hyped up more than it should have been. I am not dying to go see it again. The book is better than the movie, which is typical. If you love the books, you should see the movie, but don't go if you haven't read cause the lack of development will leave you asking questions.

I loved New Moon. It stayed so much closer to the book to me than Twilight did. The characters had such a more intimate and intense quality. The wolves and volturi coming into the picture added more action and intensity. I can't wait to see this one again and for the next one to come out.

New Moon was entertaining and visually pleasing to see. Although as with the first movie (Twilight) I would have like to not have the story rushed as much and stuck to the book as much as possible. I thought the wolves were awesome and the Volturri could have been elaborated on more. All in all I like seeing the book brought to life and impatiently wait for Eclipse to come out. :-)

this book wasn't my favorite but the movie change my opinion. the movie show what bella felt with edward leaving really well . i literaly had to close my eyes so i wouldn't cry in the break up scene . i love wolves side in it add excitment to the movie. i love when the jacob answer the phone in bella house you get to see edward and is hpain how he felt when he thought bella die . i'm favorite scene was in itay when edwardand bella reunited you feel their need and devotion to each other .

I missed the blue tint from Twilight...it would have added alot to New Moon. Other than that, it was a good movie, but better the second time around. See it twice before you make any harsh judgements.

I loved the first movie and I had rather high expectations for this one. Well, the visuals were great, the acting was better and the fights excellent but the movie lacked the emotional depth of the book and that was partly because of the horribly out of context soundtrackwhich unlike the twilight score,never managed to convey any emotions.

I am a twilight fan. I am on the fourth book now and I really like how the director portrayed the film in terms of the book. There was about 80% accuracy, although some minor changes were made to make the film flow better. I absolutely loved the special effects. The wolves could not have looked any more badass. I think Edward could have been a little more tough, because after watching the movie I am now a bigger wolf fan. I would definitely recommend this movie to friends and family. I would also recommend the books. :)

I was very excited to go watch this movie with 4 of my other friends, whom were all just as anxious. 2 of them had read the book and we sat through the first hour in bordom as the movie took over an hour to capture our attention and many of the aspects of the book was missing or lef out. The director could've used the whole first hour of the film to go into better detail of the characters of the book or had more intriguing scenes. However, only the final 30 minutes of the movie was worth watching. I trully hope part 3 is better or there may not be a 4.

I could not wait to see this movie. I enjoyed it because I love the Twilight series so much. The action and special affects were so much better than the last film. And it stayed very close to the book which was great. But my biggest disappointment was the lack of passion between the characters. In Twilight it was so intense. In New Moon, it was too assumed and that took away from them...especially between Bella and Edward. That intensity is at the core of their relationship. I hope they bring that back in Eclipse as I really missed it. Otherwise, the film was good enough.

The only thing this vampire film/volvo add did was drain my wallet, time and faith that movies have the power to fly you to another place. Kept waiting for something to happen but never got off the ground. Be prepared to sit and wait.
