Worth the wait! Never was a fan of this sort of movie until I watched it to see what the fuzz was about and now I know why! Edward is what we all hope our mates would be. It's a projection of the great love story we all wished we had at some point in our lives.

New Moon was SO much better than the first movie, Twilight. I wasn't sure what to expect from the second movie but was greatly surprised by how it stuck to the book pretty well and the special effects in this movie were amazing! I really enjoyed watching it on the midnight release and would def. go see it again! I recommend this movie to everyone, especially if you saw the first movie and was disappointed in it like I was. You will enjoy this movie much better!

I am such a die hard Twilight Saga fan and I absolutely loved New Moon, It was made by a different director than Twilight so had a different feel to it, but I loved it. I can't wait to go and see it again!

Was definitely worth the wait. The screen writter had all the key points from the book in the movie, and the special effects with the wolves was fantastic. Moved along quite nicely and stayed pretty close to the book. Chris Weitz did such a good job you can feel Edwards, Jacobs and Bellas pain. Can't wait for Eclipse!

I went along with my two best friends and we were astonished! The new director Chris Weitz did an amazng job. New Moon surpassed Twilight is so many ways. The effects were a lot better, and they stayed true to the book. Everything that I wanted to see was there. The wolves look amazing and the actors themselves did an astonishing job, they improved so much from the last movie! It was by far the best movie I've seen this year. It's very heartbreaking to watch Jacob's stuggles, but then again the movie is great! Over all me and my friends loved this movie and we cannot wait for the third one in June! Great job everyone that parttook in the movie it was amaizng!

Went w/range between the ages of 25-38. My sister has not read the books but did see Twilight. I asked her opinion from a non-reader point of view. She really liked it regardless of reading the books. My friend's boyfriend not really being a fan but due to the werewolves he gave it a chance. He liked it also. Special effects 100% improvement. No more running legs in mid air. Not a fan of cgi but these wolves looked great! Taylor did a great job with the emotional & growing up part. I'm happy he took the beefing up part seriously and kept his role. I can't wait for the rest of the movies. This one happened to come out on my birthday, what a great gift. Humor, action, love, drama, it had it all!! ^^vv^^

New Moon is certainly an upgrade: better cinematography, makeup, special effects, direction, etc. The actors impressed me as well. Kristen Steward made Bella's madness believable and real, more so than in the books, and Rob did great as well. Taylor Lautner certainly suprised me (and no, not because he was always shirtless). In New Moon, the chemistry between Bella and Edward is much more relaxed and real. Micheal Sheen was fantastic as Aro, probably the best supporting actor in it. If you love the series, you'll love the movie. If you're not, you'll enjoy it as well, but maybe a little off put by its often slow pacing. Team Alexandre Desplat!

It lacked the magical feeling the first movie left me with. I knew the girls would scream when Jacob removed his shirt, but it was still annoying. LOVED the wolves. Whats up with Edwards body? He had weird nipples. I felt Bellas depression was depicted well. Loved the way that Bella and Edward kissed...like it was their first time every time...sigh...

This movie is great, much better than the book. It moved me to tears in several places. The acting, the special effects, everything was much improved from the first movie. I wanted to see it again right away but the lines were so long. I'll wait to see it again this weekend. My granddaughter and her friend were enthralled!

I thought New Moon was fantastic! I saw it 2 times within a 24 hour period and loved it both times. I thought it followed the book very closely and I LOVED the Volturi scene even better in the movie than in the book!! The actors have definitely grown into their roles and play them with confidence and conviction. Can't wait till June!

This movie was about what would be expected. It is entertaining to see the New Moon book carried out on film- interesting to see how the characters are portrayed, and put a visual to the mental picture I have carried all this time. But as for this being a "great movie" it is not. If I hadn't read all of the books, I don't think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much. Parts of it were so cheesy that the audience actually laughed (like when Edward runs in slow-motion into every scene). Still worth seeing though.

My wife loved the book series, so I decided to take her to it. Yikes! Serious mistake. Slow. Poor acting. Horrible theater experience (too much teenage giggling, whispering and obnoxious comments) and seriously drawn out. I've not seen a movie this bad in well over a decade. Never again. I'll leave the teenie movies for that generation and won't waste my time.

new moon followed the book and held me in a trance throughout the film. jacob's transformation was amazing - the wolves were as i pictured beastly and huge. you could feel bella's pain when edward left her. edward, as always left me in awe of his love for bella.

I absolutly loved "New Moon"! It so lived up to my expectations! I think that Weitz did a great job at holding to the book! I think that the film showed the maturing of the characters just as the book does! I am defiantly going to go see it again before it comes out on DVD, I dont think that I can possibly wait that long!! Cant wait for Eclipse in June 2010!! Enjoy Everyone!!!
