My wife loved the book series, so I decided to take her to it. Yikes! Serious mistake. Slow. Poor acting. Horrible theater experience (too much teenage giggling, whispering and obnoxious comments) and seriously drawn out. I've not seen a movie this bad in well over a decade. Never again. I'll leave the teenie movies for that generation and won't waste my time.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
