I think I was expecting too much.... surprisingly...still love the first one...maybe because i read the book after i had seen the movie..
I don't understand why all vampires' eyes are soooo red?! ... voltary vampires were supposed to be amazingly beautiful... none of them were in the movie...even Jane looked so ordinary...
what have they done to Rosalie??? she is supposed to be the most beautiful... she looked like witch!
and of course music.... twilight was full of great soundtracks .. i wanted to listen to it over and over again.... after this one - nothing got stuck in my head...
this is just my opinion..... i'll try to watch it one more time on DVD...
and of course i'm gonna wait for the 3d one

I know the story revolves around the Edward/Bella/Jacob triangle and that this is Jacob's story but I missed seeing more of the Cullen's. And I feel though a small part I wanted to see more of the vampire family in Italy. I think it was pretty good all around.

For a franchise that has raked in lots of money the special effects/graphics could have been done a lot better, but with that aside I enjoyed the movie. The chemistry between Bella, Jacob and Edward was hot. In some points, I did feel the movie was a bit rushed in giving detail. It would have been nice if they went into Jacob's transformation more but of course, you can't fit everything from the book into the movie. Overall, the movie was really enjoyable and the ending made me anxious for Eclipse.

I was NOT a fan of the first movie (Twilight), but since I love the books and it was a different director, I decided to see New Moon. I'm glad I did! The movie followed the book much more closely than the first film (although there were several variations), the wolf animation was awesome, and the overall screenplay & script was significantly better than the first one. I'm not one to watch a movie twice at the theater, but if another friend wants to go watch it, I would jump at the chance. I will definitely be reserving my DVD copy this week!

As one of the many Twi-hard fans, the movie was awesome!!!!!!! I already pre-ordered it last week before I even seen it at the movie theater. I plan on seeing and pre-ordering "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn" when they come out. I have always been a major fan of the whole Vampire romance stories from-Bram Strokers Dracula (the one with Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldman) to Buffy the Vampire slayer to Dark Shadows, But I have to say the "Twilight" series beats out all of these. Still love them all, but "Twilight" beats beats them all. I look forward to the next 2 installments.

Really enjoyed the new plot elements. True to the books with as much as you could put in a movie from a book.
Well done overall on the special effects, except the "wolves" are a little too unrealistic and cartoon-ish.
The acting is still stiff but the now older actors are still believable as teens.
The cliffhanger ending left me definitely wanting to see the next installment.

I thought this movie was good and better showed the bond between Bella and Edward, then Twilight. You also were shown Bella and Jacob's strong bond really well. My biggest complaint is that the music in the background did not go AT ALL with parts in the movie, especially really important parts. It ruined parts that otherwise would of been really good. I had no complaint about the acting unlike in Twilight. So I gave this 4 starts because the overall movie was good, the music just completely threw me off. Hopefully next time they get it right.

I really enjoyed the movie! I was surprised because i couldnt really get into this book as much as i did the first. I am going to read them again to see if its different this time around. i felt like i was part of the movie, and at times found myself so into it that i forgot that i was in a theater :) excellent movie, excellent books, cant wait for Eclipse to come out and cant wait for New Moon to come out on DVD

I thought the movie was better than twilight. I didn't like the music in the first one while they were talking and I thought the video/lighting was better in New Moon. Fantastic job getting people to feel Bella's confusion trying to choose between Jacob and Edward. Tough decision...

I would recommend this to readers/nonreaders. I'd probably give this movie a 6/10. I understand that they had to cut some things out, but they added things in that didn't happen...which I didn't really appreciate.
Overall, it was pretty good, but obviously the book was better.

This was so good. I love the way they added the little comedy lines for the characters this time that really gave a lot to the movie, especialy for Charlie. This was so well acted this time and I have to say the way it ended I was not ready for that but guess that keeps you coming back for more.

I am a fan don't get me wrong. Was very true to the book but it was S-L-O-W.!!! I understand that there was major DRAMA happening but when a 2 hour movie fells like 4 some tweaking may be in order to get the story line moving just a bit more faster. Of course good eye candy does help it a bit. I believe my theatre was Team Jacob . I can't wait for next one which is bound to be much faster pace.

The effects were good, the music not so much. The editing left a whole lot to be desired as a cut scene was referred to in the movie and it was left up to us to infer what had happened based on Edward's later comment to Bella. I was disappointed this time around. I'm glad I got matinee tickets.

increased budget totally shows! amazing! Twilight series purists will love how closely the script followed the books. Taylor Lautner did amazing! I really saw the attraction between Jacob and Bella. Rob Pattinson did a great job of harnessing the sadness that Edward feels in the book...the cast is clearly getting comfortable in their characters, which proves to be very promising for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

This is what Edward told Bella in the first installment of the Twillight Saga. New Moon was a well told story and it stayed really close to the context of the book! The filming was so colorful and full of detail; the director has a good eye for detail. The ACTION was GREAT and I can hardly wait for other installements to come out!! Taylor was great...He was a convicing Jacob Black!!

This movie actually did the book justice. With slight exceptions, it was exactly as I read it. The characters were great especially Jacob. It was a great love story with lots action as well as comedy. Loved it!!!
