I would recommend this movie to everyone. I thought it was a excellent movie and I even took my kids to see it and they loved loved loved the movie. Even my son and he's not big on movies like that. He calls it a "chic flic".

Very nice! It followed book much better than Twilight. New Moon was very good except for the end it left on such a cliffhanger that i cant wait for Eclipse!

the second movie of Twilight: New Moon was as great as the first..my daughter and I went together to see it and it was a great night...she loves all the books and so do I we have both read them at least 100 times each and so far the movies are just as good..

Its a really good movie, not only because i am a Twilight fan but also because the acting is great. I love it .. for those who saw part 1 & 2 or for those who have NOT .. you are missing out on something really interesting, the books as well are good .. something like better than the movies .. ; ]

I really enjoyed this movie even more than Twilight. Jacob looks great! The special effects are alot better then I had hoped for and made the movie even more exciting. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is a romantic at heart.

LOVED IT!!! I have read all of the books at least three times. This movie follows the book almost to the T, and the few parts that were different from the book were great!! They did a much better job on this movie, I can't wait for Eclipse to come out!! I could watch this movie over and over again!!

so much better than Twilight!! The characters were so much more developed and you could tell that the cast interacted with each other well and they felt comfortable around each other. New Moon followed the book much better than Twilight did.

Director Chris Weitz has saved face and pulled the Twilight Saga future out of the corny-clip-montage the Twilight film set. The visual effects were impressive and the fight scenes were worth seeing in the theater. Screen play writer Melissa Rosenberg blended key excerpts from the book into the script fittingly and even added some clever comedy. On screen chemistry was still semi there between Robert and Kristen but the frequent make-out scenes were awkward, twitchy and seemed forced. Make up was slightly better but I’ve never seen Edward look so horrible even when he was “well fed”.
Without comparing it to Twilight, New Moon can stand on its own two feet. It’s a good movie and I am looking forward to Eclipse!

New Moon was good, but Twilight was better. I don't know why they changed directors. Also, the vampire makeup was much heavier and the contacts didn't look real. Edward's eye color didn't change to show when he was hungry or well fed. I hope the Eclipse director lives up to Catherine Hardwick's example. I missed the music from the first as well.

I walked into the theater expecting it to be just okay, kinda like the first one. But I was actually very impressed at how well this one portrayed the pain and general emotionality (is that a word?!) that were so intoxicating about the written saga. Also I thought that there were some really hilarious/goofy/witty moments that totally cracked me up. Definitely a treat, and I'm now looking forward to the rest of them!

I absolutely loved New Moon, and I'm no teenager but a 47 yr old mom. Love the books. New Moon draws you in from the very beginning and completely absorbs you until the end. This is one great movie.

I have not read a single book, a single page, not even a single word of the Twilight books, and I am hooked into the Twilight movies. Some guys can say I lose my man card by liking the movies, but the twilight movies are really cool, have action, and have a damsel in distress what else could a guy want....j/k. But seriously Twilight Saga: New Moon is an action-packed movie with a little bit of heartbreak, sets up (what I hope to be) a great battle between two great main characters, and has other conflictions that will be in the future movies. I recommend this movie as a fan of a great movie rather than a fan caught up in the buzz.

I was expecting to be disappointed because I couldn't imagine how they could fit the book into 2hrs; but they did an amazing job! Everything I wanted to see was in there - and I could not imagine how the "love triangle" was going to play out on the big screen, but it was better than I'd hoped. And my husband, who did not read the books, left the movie saying, "I really like that Jacob, why doesn't Bella just go for him?" - which is exactly the feeling I had after I finished the book the very first time!

I thought the screenplay was written much better than the first. They did a better job with the colored contacts. Dakota Fanning creeply portrayed Jane very well. I did not like that they never explained Bella's dreams. That seemed to be a big part in the book. There were several parts that the entire audience was laughing and the scenes were not ment to be funny. Like the motorcycle crash and Jake just ripping off his shirt...? For non twilight book readers I don't know if this movie would be worth going to see though.

I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga books, but was pretty disappointed by the Twilight movie. I love watching Edward, but Bella always looks like she's about to throw up. *eek*
New Moon is a completely improved movie. The casting for the Wolf Pack & Volturi were dead-on. The action flowed much smoother with fewer random non-book scenes thrown in, and the acting had been stepped up. A must for a Twilighter and, probably, enjoyable for the rest of the world.

This movie far exceeded my expectations. I love the books. Twilight the movie did not do the book justice left out a lot of key elements. I don't think I would've understood if hadn't read book, but NEW MOON stayed with the book and brought the real emotion and struggles to the screen. Can't wait to see how the next movie comes out.!!!! Diffently a must see.

I'm biased being an avid lover of these books and the first movie. I absolutely loved this film for everything it's worth. I think they exceeded Twilight, and really got their game faces on for this one. The suspense at some points was set up so well and the action amazingly choreographed. The one thing I absolutely adore about the novels and the movies is that music plays such a big role and their execution of the soundtrack in certain scenes was unbelievably perfect. I've seen it twice and definitely plan to see it again.

the movie was really good- stayed true to the book (which may have been the only disappointment for me personally), wanted to see more werewolf screen time, and a bit less brooding by the lovers- it's a little bit too much.

This movie was absolutely fantastic. Taylor Lautner did a perfect job at portraying Jacob Black. He IS Jacob Black. He was exactly as he is writen in the book. But as for the other actors Kristen Stewart did a bit better than she did in the last movie, and Robert Pattison, I personally think he is an awful actor, and not hot at all, but definitely Taylor made up for it. The graphics were very believable and the characterization of some of the characters was better portrayed than in Twilight. I can't wait until the next movie when you really get to see Edward and Jacob fight it out over Bella, it will be fantastic.
