Saw the movie last night with my husband and we both liked it, didn't love it. Beginning is slow but the movie gets better. The scenes w/Bella and Jacob were great and showcased their chemistry. As a member of Team Edward I found myself actually rooting for Jacob.
The movie is a must-see for any Twilight fan. You'll enjoy seeing the familiar faces from Twililght, and the new ones in New Moon (esp. the wolf pack, which I think didn't get enough play). Even my husband, who used to be on Team Jacob, enjoyed the film and told me as we left the theater that he's now rooting for Edward and Bella. Am looking forward to lining up for Eclipse when it comes out next summer.

New Moon was fantastic! as a fan of the books, i was pleased that they stuck to the story and any additions or subtractions from the book were well done. the special effects were amazing and the acting was superb. if you saw twilight and were disappointed, don't worry, new moon was soooo much better! i cried 3 times! the music in this movie was also very well done.

I loved how this movie was so true to the book (dialogue, concept, etc.)...yes a few scenes were added, but they only added to the theme of the book! I am such a fan of the books and can't stop re-reading them.....loved how the dialogue was so true to life and well done by the actors....true to character!
Taylor Lautner was AMAZING and Robert, well, what can I say....he's awesome as always. Kristen brought me to tears many times...so well done! THANK YOU to the director!

Not a big fan of the first movie I felt they left out way too much important stuff. New moon totally put the series back on track and added some of the things that the first movie left out. I would highly recomment this to a fan of the book series.

This was so good I watched it 2 times this weekend! LOL I can't wait to buy it next :)
I read all 4 books and I like the movies better so far. The 4th book is my fav.
I have to say the music in twilight I like better. It had more instrumental music then New Moon. NM's music has a folk sound to it. I like it, it's just different.

Absolutely Wonderful!!! Loved Twilight, but New Moon was even better. The storyline was great. Awesome screenplay! Of course no movie does the book justice, but this came very close. Extremely entertaining!!!

I am quite a fan of the Twilight books but have yet to be impressed by the films. New Moon was much better than the first movie: It stuck closer to the book's storyline, and the pace was a little easier to endure. Still too many painfully slow scenes between Edward and Bella. And the foreshadowing of them running through the woods together? Ugh!
Big plot piece missing: no mention of the fact werewolves 'imprint'...hard to make the case to what happens toward the end of the series without the imprint factor. .
3 stars for the eye candy though!

Loved the new "refined" look of this film! I still love the first Twilight movie. In fact, I love that each of these films will have different looks them. Keeps things interesting.
The acting was also a lot better in New Moon. I was pleasantly surprised by Taylor Lautner's performance! Obviously his newly transformed body was nice to look at, however, his acting was the nicest surprise.
I have seen the movie twice since it came out and am planning on seeing it, again, a few more times while it's still in theatres.

If you are a fan of the Twilight books then this movie is a must see. The story line, acting, special effect are better than the first. I really enjoyed it even though I am not a screaming tween.

This movie was awesome. The special effects were great and really brought the book to life! There were times when we felt that the movie left out important details in the book, but overall did a great job. The actor playing Jacob Black did a great job and almost convinced me to switch to Team Jacob... almost.

Well, naturally I am a huge Twilight fan. All of the books are phenominal! So, it is easy to rate this movie a five. I love the story and all of the characters. On that note, I have to say, that yes, it is very typical for most Twilight fans to just rate the movie a 5, even if it was not that great. I, however, believe that the movie was very close to the book, with a few minor changes. It was entertaining, funny, romantic, and all in all wonderful. New Moon is way better then the first movie, Twilight. All though, I rate that movie a five as well. My boyfriend even said that he liked the movie. For a person that DID NOT want to go, that means something!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Though we all have scenes in the book we would have liked to see in the movie, Chris Weitz did an excellent job keeping the movie true to the book. The cast did a fantastic job, especially Taylor Lautner! His performance almost made me switch to Team Jacob! I absolutely loved the choices for the Volturi, too! Michael Sheen was just creepy! Well worth the price of admission for both experienced and novice Twilighters!

As a lover of the books, I was a little concerned how they were going to capture the angst and heatache that I know Bella expereinced. They almost achieved that in the movie, but fell a tad short. There seemed to be some emotion missing from Bella when it came to Jacob and Edward. Bella in the book was completely and irreversibly damaged or strengthened by the exit of Edward. With that being said
Jacob was her rock during this period, and she thought that she could love Jacob. This didnt come across in the movie. It never seemed close enough between the two. This may be due to the time constraints of the movie. All in all the movie did follow the book with the major events, but lost it when trying to bridge the events and emotions.

This is my first Twlight movie. I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the movie. There were no slow parts, it kept my attention. Although, Taylor could have kept his shirt on a little more (maybe the teenagers liked seeing him bare chest, but has a 40+ mom, that was not a thrill for me). The movie is a Thumbs UP! ! ! Can't wait to read the books now.

New Moon was good, but I though Twilight was so much better. It felt like they were trying to get through the scenes of the book rather than trying to tell the story. Scenes jumped from one to the other too quickly and some of the scenes that could have easily flowed together didn't. Wish there was a little more romance too. I didn't feel the love and emotion you do in Twilight. It did have some really good action scenes though and the werewolfs alone, are worth seeing the movie! Like I said, good but could have been done just a little better. Oh and what was up with the Cullen's eyes? Why change their eyes?

I've read all the books and love them. After watching the first movie, I didn't think the film did a very good job at capturing the feeling of the first book. However, New Moon was 10 times better than the first movie. The acting was better and the characters were better developed, especially Alice. Execpt I definitely could have used more of Alice. I would definitely recommend you go see it.The minute it ended I wanted to see it again and I'll probably go back later this week to do so!
