Great movie...good mix of action, humor and romance. The actors did a great job portraying their character. Edward and Jacob looked hot! lol. The music was amazing...Twilight has one of the best soundtracks.

I'm a dude and I thought the film was pretty well done. Acting was great, FX effects were much improved and the casting was spot on. What was so good about this film was the quality of the camera work and the shooting. Chris Weitz’s removal of the blue filter allowed a much more colorful and warm feeling film. Pattinson and Stewart had amazing chemistry but the film’s champion is Taylor Lautner. He gave a great performance. This was his movie and he did a great job capturing everyone’s attention. Rachell Lafavre’s also stole our attention. She commanded attention on the screen. A well filmed, a well written and well acted film with great humor. Fans will continue to see it again and again…and their thirst will be quenched again with Eclipse

I thought the movie was excellent & stayed true to the book. I WOULD recommend the movie to everyone I know that I feel would ENJOY it. I feel that people who aren't already so engrossed in the saga don't fully appreciate the books come to life. I do appreciate the fact that if the fantastical elements of the film are taken out... it's still a classic love story. Anyone can relate.

I am a huge fan of the books and liked the Twilight movie, but New Moon exceeded my expectation. I loved it! I was not a huge fan of Jacob based on the books, but I may end up being Team Jacob after all! I am so glad they brought Taylor back to play the part. He's the man!!

The movie was true to the book, but the chemistry between Bella and Jacob could have been better. It didn't portray their relationship as well as the book did. The movie was alittle drawn out. I still enjoyed watching it. Can't wait for Eclipse.

I thought the movie was very good! There isn't as much of the love story, because that wasn't in this book. I loved the action though, and thought they did a great job with that part of the story. I'd have to say though, I was a little disappointed with Kristen Stewart's performance. Otherwise, a great movie, can't wait for the next one!!!

The story line stuck to that of the book minus a few scenes that could have been elaborated upon slightly more; however, that would have made for an even longer movie. The proportion of romance, action, drama, and adventure proved equal and kept not only I, but the movie goers in the seats around me, on the edge of our seats, oo'ing and aw'ing, moving from side to side in anticipation and with the action in the scenes, tears, laughter, and the suspense of the ending! I felt the graphics were awesome and the acting spectacular. This movie proved a great sequell and leaves much anticipation for the third one!!

Saw this movie with 12 friends...and they all really liked it. I thought it followed the book pretty well. The wolves looked good, but I wasn't in love with some of the CGI shots. I thought they compensated VERY WELL for the depressing base of this story with a lot of great one-liners/humor and action. I LOVE these books and I definitely think the movie did the books justice and stayed in line with the feel of the first movie.

This was even better than I expected, as it kept you entertained thoughout the whole movie! Acting is top notch. Special effects, even better! I'm a 49 year old mother of a teenager who read all the books, I took the girls and sat there wanting more, when it was over!!!!!! Team Edward and Team Jacob......LOVED IT!!!

This movie, as the book, was definitely Jacob Black's, Taylor Lautner. He has done a marvelous job with his acting and has actually made the character of Jacob come to life. I admire him for his willingness to change his appearance to continue with this character....Taylor is a fine young actor, but with his performance here I can see a maturity w/n him that proves he will be a strong force to contend with in the industry. Taylor has portrayed Jacob as the vulnerable, loving "friend" who is willing to do anything/everything....his emotions are visible/ raw....I feel that w/this portrayal, Taylor, has become Jacob.
The special effects were phenomenal....no disappointment there.

this movie was great. the only thing i wish there was more of, is jacob and bella. ya'll did an awesome job by staying true to the book, but there is just more emotion and love between them in the book, i would have loved to see more of that on the big screen. other then that, im in love with both book and movie :D.

I love this movie and this time I feel it stayed closed to the books. Lots of action, drama, romance and laughter. Seen it twice in 1 day and would love to see it again. Really can't wait for the 3rd and 4th one too(although I've heard rumors that the 4th one will be split up which kinda sucks). LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Moon, is a very good movie from a book. The new direction and feel of this movie is a positive thing. Like the "visions" of Edward. But, I wish there was more back story on the wolves and Cullens. Once again, it's better if you read the books first, but this one is much better if you didn't than Twilight was. Heck, even if you hadn't seen the 1st movie or read a single word, GO SEE it. There are too many men with their shirts off!!!!!

I loved it! So much more acurate to the book than Twilight was! Chris Weiss did an awesome job with New Moon and the screenplay was writen 100 times better! I have already seen it twice and I would definitly see if again! Very much looking forward to Eclipse and then Breaking Dawn.

We LOVED New Moon! A group of us went to see it opening weekend, and it was definitely MORE than we expected!! A THRILL RIDE from beginning to end!!
We loved the fact that the storyline stayed very close to the book; the graphics were so much more improved (Edward WAS his Beautiful Sparkling self), and it kept us glued to our seats and never wanting it to end!!
We all yelled "NO" aloud in the theatre, as the cliffhanger ending caught us all off guard!! YIKES!! How dare they do that to US!! hee hee!!
We can hardly contain ourselves having to wait for Eclipse next Summer!! But we'll be there...waiting...to catch a glimpse of our favorite vampire!
Kudos to Stephenie Meyer and ALL the CAST for a SUPERB New Moon.

New Moon was such a step up from Twilight. I read all the books and was instantly drawn into this desirable romance. When they first came out with Twilight as a movie, I was soo pumped! But then was slightly let down. They could have done SO much to make it so amazing. But they really came through with New Moon, they did a 1000 times better to match the book and make it so realistic and believeable. When I first saw the previews I was in awe and was SO excited to see New Moon because it looked so much better than Twilight, but I was also worried they showed the best scenes and the rest would be just blah. But I was NOT let down, it was amazing!

I have read all four of the books, and have watched the first movie numerous times. Each of the books is well over five or six hundred pages so you can only squeeze so much into a two hour movie. I think they did very well in accomplishing this with New Moon. The movie captured many of the key elements of the book, although many things were changed, which is expected when a book is made into a movie. My first viewing of the movie was at 12:01am on Friday and it was difficult to watch with so many screaming young girls. I saw it a second time on Friday afternoon and was able to truly enjoy it; so much that I will more than likely see it a third time.

OMG, I'm definitely a TwiMom and couldn't wait for this movie to come out. Saw it with my daughter and plan to go back and see it again over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend and definitley purchase the DVD as soon as it's avail. Can't wait till June 2010 for Eclipse. The actors absolutely fit the characters doing a wonderful job and getting you not only excited at what's happening but making you want more. Fantastic, GO SEE IT!!!

I am glad I saw the movie, but it couldve better. It did follow the book pretty well and the actors as in the 1st were well chosen for their parts. Loved the Volturi parts. I think Taylor definately was the shining star in the one :) I will rent it and watch again when it comes out on DVD.

I love Stephenie Meyers "Twilight Saga", books. So, I will not speak ill of any of the movies based upon these books. But, I will say that I think Catherine Hardwicke did a much better job getting the actors to show emotion. If you go back and watch "Twilight" after watching "New Moon" you will see what I mean. I did enjoy the movie and can't wait to see what the movie people did to "Eclipse" which comes out the summer of 2010.
