Disappointing!

I found Percy Jackson & the Olympians to be an "Okay" movie at best. I did not read the book, so I don't know how closely the movie followed it. This movie seemed to have similarities to Harry Potter (a boy not knowing about his past until faced with it), but I didn't think it was nearly as good as Harry Potter! This movie was predictable, and definitely not one I would take young children to see (i.e. monsters, sexual innuendo, etc.). More suited for teenagers. Would not see it again."

We LOVED New Moon! A group of us went to see it opening weekend, and it was definitely MORE than we expected!! A THRILL RIDE from beginning to end!!
We loved the fact that the storyline stayed very close to the book; the graphics were so much more improved (Edward WAS his Beautiful Sparkling self), and it kept us glued to our seats and never wanting it to end!!
We all yelled "NO" aloud in the theatre, as the cliffhanger ending caught us all off guard!! YIKES!! How dare they do that to US!! hee hee!!
We can hardly contain ourselves having to wait for Eclipse next Summer!! But we'll be there...waiting...to catch a glimpse of our favorite vampire!
Kudos to Stephenie Meyer and ALL the CAST for a SUPERB New Moon.
