Made a ladies night on opening night and have already gone back to bring my daughter. This movie didn't leave out as much as the first one did from the book. LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT! Can't wait til June for Eclipse!

This movie kept very close to the book and seeing it all come to life was just delicious. The movie still had the passion, the forbidden fruits of lust and so what about the skins vs. the shirts! I loved it. You have to take it for what it is...like I said, delicioso!

It was pretty true to the book and, of course, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were handsome so that doesn't hurt. Great second attempt. Expect that Eclipse will be even better.

What a difference one director can make! I'm a fan through the books, and although New Moon was my least favorite book, I have to say the director did a great job of expressing Bella's depression after Edward leaves. I think Jacob's part was done perfectly. I also like how the director incorporated more of Edward into the movie... in the book he wasn't seen as often as she sees him in the movie, so the flashbacks really helped the viewer become more connected with how she really felt. Anyway, great movie! I recommend to all!

I love this movie! It was better then the first but I expected that because I know that they did not have as much money as they did for this one. The graphics for the wolves were AMAZING!!!! They truly did a great job!! Cannot wait for the next one!!!

I have to say, I read the books before I knew anything about the movies. I was very worried that the movies would or could not do the books justice. Yet after seeing both Twilight, and New Moon... Wow, is all I can say. I say New Moon is an amazing watch for anyone.

The movie was ok. It was nice that the storyline was kept close to the book. But the story itselfe is just used up and old. The special effects werent that great, though Taylor Lautner and especially Kristen Stewart did a good job. It can´t save the the hole movie though cuz Robert Pattinson looks all the time like he realy wants to be some place else or as if he is in pain.

New Moon was much better than Twilight. I liked Twilight out of obligation from being a fan of the books and the cast, but New Moon had a smoother plot flow; better make-up; better lighting (as in no cool filter the entire movie. They were actually in color!) and MUCH better effects. I've always been Team Edward, but Taylor gave such a heartbreaking performance that I was tempted to switch teams. Almost.

I am a huge fan of the twilight book series. I liked the first movie but felt that it could have been better and closer to the book. This movie completely met my expectations and surpassed them. Chris Weitz did an excellent job bringing the book to life and bringing the personalities out of the caracters. I will see this many more times and will buy it on dvd. Cant wait for Eclipse!!!! Bring on more Edward and Jacob :) oh yeah Bella too I guess.

The movie was very good. I was disappointed at some of the things they left out or changed. Don't expect Ms. Stewart's acting to have improved, she is still very wooden.
Taylor Lautner doesn't just look good,he can actually act. Billy Burke did a great job as Charlie. He is a pro. I'd like to see more of him. Same with Elizabeth Reaser & Peter Facinelli. Ashley G. & Robert P. are perfect as Alice & Edward. She has one of the funniest lines in the movie. I hope all of them continue to find work in good roles.
The movie will make you laugh and cry, so take some tissues. Guys, if you want your girl to pay more attention to you, try paying attention to this romance. Every woman wants to feel wanted this much.

I loved this movie even more than I loved Twilight! I am 28 yrs old and did not think I could ever love a book series or movies as much as I love these. I am so excited about the books and the movie. I have seen Twilight 10 times and I have seen New Moon twice. I cannot wait for Eclipse. I am a major fan and Stephanie Meyer should be very proud the directors are doing her books justice. I am so proud how well the cast portrays her characters. I am more than satisfied! Luv it!

First off let me start by saying this was a fantastic movie. The directer did a great job on stay on point with the book. Also, unlike the first movie Twilight, they used more than just one life from the book. They actually used quite a few lines from the book, which I am really glad they did. Most of the acting was really great. I think that Kristen Stewart could still use a lot more work. Also you could tell with this movie that the budget was much higher. Everything was much more vivid and the picture just looked alot better than the previous movie. Christ Weitz did a fantastic job with this movie. Lets just hope that Eclipse directed by David Slade is just as good..

I LOVED it!!! It seemed to me that the actors were more relaxed in their roles...and I couldn't believe how the entire audience reacted when certain things came about in the movie. It was as tho everyone in the audience had not only seen the movies, but, had also read the books. I am so looking forward to Eclipse when it comes out in Jun '10...Somebody needs to tell Stephanie to get busy on the next installment in the Saga!!

I'm sure the majority of you had the same sense of dread as me when you heard your wife/gf tell you how excited she was that the new Twilight movie was coming out. Don't be afraid to check out this movie with her.
The movie surprised me with the actors' intensity & the brisk pace of the story. This is not a Hannah Montana movie even though some portions are meant to appeal to the female market but they're tolerable.
Some decent action scenes are placed throughout the movie as well to keep the guys awake and paying a little attention. I've sat through movies that were much worse so the majority of you will be fine with it. That's the key expectation - it's a watchable movie and not a horrible drain on your manliness.

OMG!I LOVE THIS MOVIE.it is soooo similar to the book. TWILIGHT is GARBAGE compared to NEW MOON! In twilight the sequence of what happens were everywhere and unless you read the book you were kinda clueless on why things were going on,but in NEW MOON the sequence of things each chapter were GREAT! it was as if they were acting out the movie straight from the book. the graphics were AWSOME AS WELL. AND THE ENDING,that was just great how it left u wondering about eclipse! BY FAr The Director Chris W. did a GReat JOb! I thought this movie was GREAT!!! I read the book first as I did the first one. I thought this movie was well put together. Better than Twilight & it followed more closely to the book than did Twilight. Definitely see it again & will buy it when it come out

My daughter and I saw the movie on opening night and what a treat! Have definitely already told others to see it. Sure there were parts that didn't follow the book, but that happens with adaptations. We will buy it when it reaches DVD status and see it again in theaters.
