Best of the franchise

As the third movie in the franchise, I felt it was hands-down the best one thus far. I loved the increased romance and connection between Robert and Kristen - for the first time I could really sense the chemistry, and there was a lot of it. The movie was exciting, funny, and true to the book. David Slade did an excellent job!

Just plain better

New Moon was much better than Twilight. I liked Twilight out of obligation from being a fan of the books and the cast, but New Moon had a smoother plot flow; better make-up; better lighting (as in no cool filter the entire movie. They were actually in color!) and MUCH better effects. I've always been Team Edward, but Taylor gave such a heartbreaking performance that I was tempted to switch teams. Almost.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
