I read all the books after my grandaughters read them and loved them. I thought New Moon followed the book more than Twilight did. I did not want the movie to end. I have become attached to the characters. I will go see it again and buy the DVD when it comes out. I saw women alot older than me there and they seemed to enjoy it as well. So everyone GO see New Moon you won't regret it.

I do think that this film does follow closer to the book than Twilight did. I thought the short phrases they added in New Moon here and there were cute...even though they were not in the book. The scenes with the wolf pack were great. However, I was quite dissapointed with Edward and the way the vampires looked in this one. I could really tell their features were digitally enhanced, more so than in Twilight. The whole movie I was trying to feel the bond between Edward and Bella, but it just wasnt there. When I first read New moon I could care less about Jacob, so I felt the relationship there still. But of course, after seeing the movie...I cant help but think Edward who? I really hope to feel that bond again between the two.

It was a treat to watch the development of Jacob in this movie. His character was the highlight of the film. I also felt Bella was more compelling in scenes with him than she was in her scenes with Edward.
A good story overall, and truer to the book than Twilight was.

The characters came to life by the book and the movie followed it very well, even to Bella's emotions at the very end. THANK YOU, director Chris W. for these feelings! Twilight was great with the money Summit let Catherine H. spend. Now the fans can expect more since Summit is convinced. Keep up the good work on the screen writing.

I liked the movie very much. I like that fact that they did pretty much go by the book. Although some of the acting in some of the scenes were not good. Robert and Taylor were great it's just Kristen Stewart. I didn't really feel she was into it. She had no emotion really. She didn't even cry. The only time I felt real emotion from her was at the end when Jacob and Edward's characters were going to fight and Jacob ran off.

I absolutely loved this film. To me it stayed very true to the book and every character was just how I'd imagine it should be. Taylor should be real proud of himself cause if he didn't pull Jacob off this would be a very different movie. Can't wait for Eclipse so I can see more of everyone.

If you are a twilight reader you will love it. I actually, did not like the 2nd book so much. Too, much history and such. However, as I read I quickly realized it has importance. The movie is strait to the point, while concentrating most on the romance!! Loved it!!

This was much closer to the book than Twilight. Many times they directly quoted the book. Jacob's character was great, playing the whole range of emotions. Rob as Edward was great when he kissed Bella goodbye. He does a good job showing the pained look in Edward...I also enjoyed his smile in this movie. Even though there were parts not in the book, I could picture the characters saying or doing it. The October, November, December part with Lykke Li's song brought me to tears..."All that I had, was all I'm gonna get." I have seen this movie 3 times, and I'll go see it again. It has a very personal meaning for me. Since New Moon was my least favorite of the 4 books, I can't wait to see what they do with Eclipse!

I thought that they did a great job with the movie considering how much of the book they could fit in a 2 hour time span... but I feel that for the people who have never read New Moon or any of the Twilight Books they are seriously missing out. I love the actors they choose to portray the charcters in the book, they choose well and I hope that continue on until the very end. This movie is worth it and would most likely see again.
