This was much closer to the book than Twilight. Many times they directly quoted the book. Jacob's character was great, playing the whole range of emotions. Rob as Edward was great when he kissed Bella goodbye. He does a good job showing the pained look in Edward...I also enjoyed his smile in this movie. Even though there were parts not in the book, I could picture the characters saying or doing it. The October, November, December part with Lykke Li's song brought me to tears..."All that I had, was all I'm gonna get." I have seen this movie 3 times, and I'll go see it again. It has a very personal meaning for me. Since New Moon was my least favorite of the 4 books, I can't wait to see what they do with Eclipse!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
