I was a little disappointed in this movie. I thought Twilight was wonderful, and was expecting the same from New Moon. When I saw Twilight, I had not read the books, so maybe that made a difference with New Moon. I was expecting it to be as good as the book, but I guess there is no way to fit the book into 2 1/2 hours. It seemed to skip around alot, and I felt that made you miss some of the storyline. I do think the special effects were great!! Especially the wolf transformations!! I would still recommend it to a friend, but will not see it again myself until it comes out on DVD. I hope that Eclispe is better, because I am a Twilight Saga fanatic!!

I enjoyed New Moon alot. I agree with many reviews that it did follow the book very well. I knew what was going to happen but I was still surprised to see how a scene or a charcter would look. I was expecting the question at the end of the movie but not for it to end right then. Obviously it was left wide open for a trilogy but still.... I would recommend this movie to a lot of people but I also recommend that they read the books first and if not then atleast watch Twilight first.

This was the book that most skimmed though to the end until Edward returned. This movie breaks through to capture your attention with Jacob and will have all fans of Team Edward switching sides! (Temporarily at least!)

Okay, while I am a fan of vampire movies and the like, I was throughly impressed by New Moon. I wasn't too fond of the film adaptation of Twilight, thought it was a little too . . . underdone, but New Moon was done very well compared to its prequel. The love story in this one was so much less cheesy than in Twilight. Honestly, it was a good way to spend 2 hours. I'm happy with it.

My daughter and I enjoyed the first movie and we loved this one even more. It doesn't feel like a long movie...I would see it again in a heartbeat. I've told everyone I know to go and see the movie and read the books...Love all of them!

Compared to the first movie.... it was great. Followed the book about 75% of the time. Considering the book itself was lined with crack and I couldnt but it down and it wasn't my favorite book of the series... this movie did well.

New Moon was so much better than Twilight. I was disappionted with the effects on Twilight, but New Moon was awesome. The story line was alot closer to the book so I was really happy. I didn't think there was any way they could do the wolves phasing but the effects were amazing. I read all of the books so I know how it turns out, but I was still on the edge of my seat. The acting was so good, the relationship between Jacob and Bella was as sweet as it was with Bella and Edward. I love the actors in the wolf pack and the Volturi. Can't wait til June, but I will watch New Moon as many times as I can until I get to watch Eclipse.

Loved it! I was very disappointed with the first movie but this one kept my attention from the beginning. There was so much going on that I didn't have the time to think about what's supposed to follow next according to the book. Very well done!

I like the drama in this movie. I cannot wait for Eclipse to come out.Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are wonderful actors.
I liked seeing the dark depressed side of Bella. The werewolves were great. Edward and the Volturi were my favorites by far.

Even though I'm totally a vampire girl at heart the werewolves won a few points in this movie. Taylor Lautner is clearly the better actor of the three main stars and this movie really let him shine. The cinematography was much better and the action was a draw for the guys to show up and not be completely bored by the oohs and ahhs over Taylor's body work. Looking forward to the next movie in the Saga; too bad we have to wait until June 2010.

I have to disagree with a few critics and say this movie is far superior to Twilight in every way: the acting is better, the production values are better and the story was presented much more cohesively. As a result, the person I went to see the movie with (who has never read the novels) actually wants to see what happens next. Anyone can enjoy this movie (just accept some seriously sappy lines) and Twilight series fans in general should love the upgrade.

I enjoyed that the movie had more action scenes than the first movie. The special effects for the transformation into wolves was great. I would recommend this movie, though I found Edward shirtless a bit disturbing especially after seeing all the wolf pack boys shirtless.
