Okay, while I am a fan of vampire movies and the like, I was throughly impressed by New Moon. I wasn't too fond of the film adaptation of Twilight, thought it was a little too . . . underdone, but New Moon was done very well compared to its prequel. The love story in this one was so much less cheesy than in Twilight. Honestly, it was a good way to spend 2 hours. I'm happy with it.
I think that 2012 ranks up there with some of the good doomsday movies. I'm willing to admit that some of the stuff in the movie was VERY sci-fi, but it worked well in the movie. The CG was some of the very best I have ever seen, and as for the acting, it was a bit hit and miss at some points, but overall it was pretty good. Of course a few corny jokes and puns were thrown into the movie, but it fits in pretty well.
So, if you like this sort of stuff I'd suggest this movie, unless your a science expert, then you might get caught up in the unrealistic aspects of the doomsday scenerios.
