As a huge fan of the book series I had a fear the movies would just fillet the series. But New Moon did a very good job at telling the story. It did exactely what a love story should, my heart fluttered, I got angrey, and overjoyed. I was especially excited with Taylor Lautners devotion to the character Jacob. My friend and I had smiles on our faces til the wee hours of the morning after seeing the film. Definetly going to see it in theatres again and recomend it to all audiences.

OMG...loved it. It was sooo much better than twilight. Acting was better, way BETTER!! I liked all the colors, not everyone is in grey and blues. Italy was amasing, i sooo want to see the voltri! Go and see it....NOW!!

This movie was truly amazing! It stayed absolutely truthful to the book. Yes it did leave some parts out, but the combination of what they did add was perfect. The actors were way better than in Twilight. I would definitely go see it again and again and again. I highly recommend it!!!!

LOVED!!! Had some hilarious moments, with some action & romance with it. Very intense. Jacob was steaming hot! Edward was crazy sexy too! Don't you wish you were Bella? Lol.

I enjoyed Twilight, but I absolutely LOVED New Moon. They really stepped up the acting. I felt like they mirrored the book really well. Definitly left me wanting more!

I went with my wife and although not the best movie I've ever seen it's a good movie. Way better acting and scenes then the first one. The best was the special effects where the first movie was kinda cheesy with the running with bella on her back this movie thoroughly impressed this guy.

We have waited sooo very long for this movie to come out. It was awsome, we are going to go see it again this weekend! If you have read any of the Twilight Saga books, you MUST go and see this movie. We can't wait until June 30 to watch Eclipse....that's toooo far away :-( Go SEE THIS MOVIE :)

as my title says, new moon was definitely a step up from twilight! The wait of 4 and a half hours was SO worth it. The movie stayed so true to the book, which I felt was the best part... in the movie it seems as if everything happens so fast, Edwards there, then he leaves.. then Jacob steps in.. But i absolutely loved it. I took my boyfriend to see it, and he said it is definitely still a chick flick but the action could of been better... all in all compared to twilight, everything was better. I wish they would of done a better job on the werewolves but, what can you do?
haha.
the ending was very vague, but thats how the book also left off...
i can't wait until eclipse!

I waited in a 2 hour line in 40 degree weather and today I feel like I have the flu, but it was worth every second! I wish they could go into more detail from the book but it was just so awesome. I'm swappin' to Team Jacob on this one. When she leaves him to go with Edward and you see tears in his big old wolf eyes, it just hurt my soul! It is very much worth it!!

I was so disappointed after seeing this movie. The acting was horrible and did not capture the essence of the book. The actors lacked emotion where necessary and exaggerated emotion where it wasn't warranted. The movie was poorly organized and did not give viewers a full understanding of the story had they not previously read the book. This movie was so corny and only a very young and naive generation of viewers would like this.

Although I have never read the books I have seen the first movie of the saga and I liked it a lot actually. However, I think Taylor Lautner did an amazing job portraying Jacob Black. I give kudos to him for the transformation of his physique.. I did notice that Edward and Bella was sort of awkward at times, but since I've never read the book I was wasn't sure if thats what I should've expected. The new characters such as the wolf pack and the volturi were awesome. Dakota Fanning is amazing in all of her movies. I would recommend this movie for those who really enjoy the Twilight Saga. The ending gives off such a teaser that makes you frustrated because you have to wait till 2010 to see "Eclipse". I can't wait !

I've been counting down the months, weeks, days and minutes until the New Moon release and it did not disappoint! It was funny, romantic and the visual effects were so much better than Twilight. Great performance by Taylor Lautner, it's put me on the fence for Team Jacob or Team Edward (used to be Edward all the way!). Can't wait to see this movie again!

I loved New Moon! I have read all of the books and thought they did a good job with this movie without changing much. I think the casting of the new characters was AWESOME! Aros, Jane, Embry, Sam, ect. Really good job. And Kristen and Rob are great together on screen- LOVE THEM!

I thought they did such a great job with Twilight, in keeping with the whole atmosphere of the book, that I was afraid to be disappointed in New Moon. I was really pleasantly suprised! They did an awesome job on this movie. It really captured the haunting quality of the book just like the movie Twilight did. These young actors really bring Stephenie's characters to life.

This movie was so much better than the first one. They stuck to the book very well and they even left you with a cliffhanger ending. It was awesome! I laughed and cried. I loved the CGI wolves! They were so realistic, I even jumped at one point when they were fighting. Great movie! I recommend this movie to everyone, even if you're not a Twilight Saga fan you will love this movie.

It's amazing what you can get with a budget adjustment. This movie hit all the target points of the book. I could not take my eyes off the screen even knowingly anticipating what would happen in each scene. It was completely worth it, I know I will see it a few more times on-screen and definitely buy it on DVD.

It has been a long time since I could walk out of a movie and be so excited and thrilled and happy. New Moon did a better job of following the book than the Twilight movie, with a better story line and various aspects of good movies. It was funny, thrilling, romantic, and sad. The movie New Moon was Great! It followed the book enough to keep avid readers happy, while adding a few exciting extras! I would gladly recommend this movie to all my friends whether they read the book or not.
It is just a shame the same director didn't create Twilight!
The best acting was with Rob and Taylor. Christian, you need some work. It is bad when I as a movie watcher, cried real tears and you couldn't!

So if you were disappointed by the first film because it wasnt very true to the book than New Moon is for you. The story line is much like the one in the book. The acting has gotten just a smidgen better (we take what we can get...at least they are pretty to look at) and the effects are 1000% improved. No more honky tonk contact lenses that you could spot from a mile away, but now they all look they have "golden" eyes. One thing that I did find distracting was Jacob and his muscles of steel. You cannot keep your eyes off of them. Its like they have their own plot. All in all if you love the books, you will LOVE this movie, and will be left wanting for more!!

Before watching the movies I had to read the book so i would know what details were missing from the movie and could fill in the gaps. I'm glad to say New Moon had hardly any gaps in important book details! Loved the actors, they played their roles phenomenally! I didnt like the ending, ONLY because we have to wait a whole YEAR to find out what happens next-(I already know cause i read the books but ya know, suspense is a killer!) Great movie, totally recommend it, you can totally get the jist of the book without reading it but I also highly recommend buying all the books!

The movie was well done. I am sure beyond most peoples expectations. However the music and or score for the most part was horible. It just did not quite fit at times throughout the movie. I was not the only person thinking this...What happened? In spite of awkward/non-meshing music, New Moon was all full of great action, adventure and of course romance.
