So if you were disappointed by the first film because it wasnt very true to the book than New Moon is for you. The story line is much like the one in the book. The acting has gotten just a smidgen better (we take what we can get...at least they are pretty to look at) and the effects are 1000% improved. No more honky tonk contact lenses that you could spot from a mile away, but now they all look they have "golden" eyes. One thing that I did find distracting was Jacob and his muscles of steel. You cannot keep your eyes off of them. Its like they have their own plot. All in all if you love the books, you will LOVE this movie, and will be left wanting for more!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
