If you read the book you might be a little disappointed they seem to linger on the beginning and then race through the middle and end If you have not read the book then you would really enjoy the movie I Liked the comic twist they added and Jacob seemed to have a more arrogant nature about him compared to the character in the book it worked well As for the CGI the wolves were spectacular there is no doubt about that And i do remember that people were complaining about "not enough sparkle" on Edward in the first movie well i believe they might have over done it a bit this time find a middle And I honestly liked the gold vampire eyes from the first movie better

The movie was great and stayed true to the book with slight divations for visual effect. The graphics were amazing and I wouldn't say that this movie was better than Twilight because they are two totally different stories, but New Moon was outstanding.

New Moon was AMAZING!!! I didn't even want to blink during the whole thing! Chris Weitz did a fantastic job with directing and creating the vision we have all seen in our heads a thousand times. The only odd part I thought was Alice's vision of Edward and Bella after Bella has changed...it was a bit cheesy for me but it only lasted about 5 seconds. I want to go see it again because I know I missed things! SO GOOD!

WOW this movie was amazing. i am glad that they changed the director because fo twilight the director did horrible. I hated it, but new moon was perfect exactly how i pictured it. they changed a bit but over all amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw it yesterday n it was worth the wait. This was better than the first part ,the acting was great. Grils were screaming evry time they saw Jacob lol. They really stayed true 2 the book. Sure some scens didn't make it but ot was minor. I deffinetly recommend 2 go see it it's worht it. Know I cna't wait till June lol.

Overall it was AWESOME. Compared to the book it was a lilttle disappointing. But as a movie I thought it was even better then Twilight which I loved. Especially during the moments that made your heart stop in anticipation. Some of the scene transitions were bizarre but I definately dont regret going to the midnight show, paying the extra money or waiting in line. It was worth it and I cant wait to see it again!

I ordered my tickets a couple weeks in advance.. waited 4 hours in line and it was totally worth it! it definately followed the book better this time.. and im excited for the next two movies to complete the saga. i just wish the theater was a little more organized.. it was crazy!!!

New Moon was great. The action scenes were amazing..the detail in the fight scene with the Volturi is awesome!!!!! Bella does a good job of showing her emotions more in this film. Awesome movie....can't wait to see it again!!!

New moon is a big improvement to twilight the first movie.. This one was not "hard to watch" unlike some of the scenes in the first twilight movie. Acting was improved a lot, but still not where it should be. They still used a little poetic licensing not as much as the first but as far as a movie goes I am very happy with this director. I think Jane was perfect as well. On the negative side they have still NEVER perfected Edwards car yet! Stephenie Meyer has a picture and description of the correct car on her website. I was very happy with the action scenes! I would recommend this movie to everyone! I went to the midnight showing and will probably see it again and buy the DVD when it come out! 21/M/TX

The problem was music, editing, CGI, and acting. The music was awkward and completely wrong for many of the scenes. The editing was confusing. I know the story, but not everyone else has read the books. The flow of the story seemed choppy and was distracting. The CGI was very cheap, and so seemed extremely fake.
The acting, as in the first, was mediocre. Kristen has improved a little. She just lacks emotion, period. Robert was better, but just. Their kissing scenes are not passionate at all. It's reluctant and awkward - not at all like two people madly in love. It was nice to have Taylor play a more forward role, but he was clearly regurgitating lines, and not feeling much.

The effects were much better than the first one. I loved the Wolves awesome effects. I think that Jacob and the supporting actors by far did a better job in acting than Edward and Bella. I like Robert but Jacob stole the show in acting and with the awesome body. I hope that Robert and Kristen get more acting lessons to measure up to the characters they are playing. I really hope to see major improvements by the third movie. Either way the book is way better but I will still buy the movie when it comes out.

The biggest problem with seeing New Moon was watching Twilight immediately before seeing it! Doing this made me see what a hot mess New Moon was! I don't know if it was the cinematography or the cheesy powedered faces and contact lenses that made the characters look so pasty but whatever it was made this movie the red-headed stepchild! The dialouge sucked and the jokes were so juvenile, even my 10 year old neighbor rolled her eyes a couple of times. This movie didn't have the "magic" or the "heart" that the original movie had. This new director's "vision" left a lot to be desired! This movie should have showed us the intricate "dance" between Edward, Bells, and Jacob, instead we just got our feet trampled on!!

I loved New Moon. With an increased budget, the special effects improved greatly from Twilight and reminded me of the third Harry Potter's effects. Since New Moon is an essential part of the saga, revealing Jacob's character, showing Bella's relationship with him and infatuation with Edward, and allowing Edward to demonstrate his willingness to self sacrifice, I was very happy to see the way it followed the book closely. It included all the intense, pivotal moments between Jacob and Bella, bringing to life the intimate relationship the two share in the novel. It also tied together nicely, using Bella's letters to Alice as a way to narrate the story and adding smooth transitions. I am very impressed with the way New Moon was made!

On Twilight I saw the movie first and then read all books. Obviously, the books are much better, but I thought the first movie was pretty good. This one was ok... maybe I was expecting too much. It felt slow and somewhat boring at the beginning, even during the breakup... somehow it didn't feel as heartbreaking as it was on the book. Edward and Bella's love seemed kind of forced, not as natural as in the previous movie. I'm still Team Edward, but I LOVED Jacob in the movie. Taylor was really good, his performance and the body... the girls were screaming in our theater.
The wolf pack was great; the wolfs look good but their movement needs some improvement. I overall liked it, but not as much as I expected.

I loved it my kids loved it ages 8 female and 14 male. Jacob and Co were awsome. I did how ever think it jumped form scene to scene to quickly. I would have like to see more of Jane Still cant wait to see it again on Saturday. Kids and I are already excited about Eclipse out 06/30/2010 (Cant wait to see the fight with the Newborns).

I went to the 12:20 AM showing with a few friends (both male and female)... the males liked it but didn't love it while the females drooled over Taylor (Jacob) and clapped as he entered the screen with his shirt off. I enjoyed the movie however I did not feel like it captured the true "closeness" that Jacob and Bella shared in the book. I do feel that the book was better than the movie, but to be honest I cannot wait to see the movie again (and I'm going Sunday). I would definitely recommend seeing it.

New Moon was absolutely AMAZING. sure it skipped a few parts in the book but you can't expect for the movie to follow the book word for word. My eyes were attatched to the screen all 2hrs and 10 minutes of it. Graphics were amazing and i can definately say that this movie was way better than Twilight. I'm so amazed of the hard work everybody put into this second movie, and i'm so excited to watch Eclipse. Waiting for 3 hrs was all worth it!

The books are always better we know that. But unlike the first movie this one actually seem to go along with the book and seem to have transition well from scene to seen. I am very happy with this one. I only hope that the direct of Eclipse can keep up with New Moon or out do it.

I'm not a twilight fan or any of that and I was just taking my lil sister to see it for her birthday, but this movie was really really good.. It had real good action scenes and the story line was perfect.. I will be going to see Eclipse when it comes out due to how good this movie was! Go see it!!!!

The movie is better than the first although I will say... the ending is a big of a heart wrencher but it was only to keep people interested. Yeah the middle was a drag... but if you have ever been truely heartbroken you understand. I loved the movie and I will buy it to go along with the first one. I'm not a teen so don't think this can't appeal to the younger adult generation.

This was an excellent movie - pitted Jacob and Edward's love for Bella against each other. The movie actually followed the book...very appealing feature. The cinematography was superb and the plot thickens in wait for the next saga - Elipse.

I was actually quite impressed with the New Movie, especially with how well they crammed things into the movie from the book. Of course they did vary from it, including Bella sees images of Edward instead of just hearing him in her head, but it would have been very difficult to portray it otherwise. I thought the casting for the Volturi was rather well done. Dakota did a wonderful job playing Jane, and I was especially surprised with the actor who plays Aro. He really seemed to grasp his calm yet dangerous personality. Our main 3 stars did a wonderful job in my opinion and I loved the fact that they kept the scenes in of Bella screaming in the night from her nightmares.

new moon definitely has more action and fight scenes than the first twilight. No shortage of eye candy thanks to the addition of the wolf pack boys! :) The scenes in Italy are beautifully portrayed, and the Volturi are a menacing delight! A must see, and just as good as twilight!!

New Moon starts off with a bang and doesn't stop going. It gives the feeling of picking right off where Twilight left off, but can stand all on its own. Everything is so much better, the acting, the scenery, the way the story flows. I loved Twilight, but it seems like they finally got in stride with the story and how the characters should be portrayed. Taylor gave an amazing performance. Kristen also did a wonderful job of portraying Bella's loss and sadness and even though Rob wasn't in too much of the movie, he did amazing. I hope they keep up the good work with Eclipse and that the studio decides to go forward with Breaking Dawn.
