The problem was music, editing, CGI, and acting. The music was awkward and completely wrong for many of the scenes. The editing was confusing. I know the story, but not everyone else has read the books. The flow of the story seemed choppy and was distracting. The CGI was very cheap, and so seemed extremely fake.
The acting, as in the first, was mediocre. Kristen has improved a little. She just lacks emotion, period. Robert was better, but just. Their kissing scenes are not passionate at all. It's reluctant and awkward - not at all like two people madly in love. It was nice to have Taylor play a more forward role, but he was clearly regurgitating lines, and not feeling much.
