I LOVED this movie...left me wanting more. I read the books 10000000 xxxxx times and they covered all the key points I think perfectly. i mean how much could you fit into over 2 hours?? the books are elaborate and they covered each point perfectly. I already want to see it again...xoxoxo

The movie moved at a slugs pace; I think the director could have moved the Jacob/Bella relationship faster. Kristen Stewart needs to find a more effective method to relate emotion. Her epileptic/eye blinking/quiver is taxing on the nerves at the minimum. This whole screaming in the bed during her dreams - frankly - made me snicker. I think the girl needs to dig a lot deeper. In terms of cinematography: excellent scenery, etc. Graphics were eloquently executed and pleasant to watch.
For as much hype, the director could have done more with the Volturi. The werewolf story line seemed somewhat ridiculous. "Don't make me mad" or I'll rip your face off because I'm a werewolf now, can’t control myself. But I’ll never hurt you, come on.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was better than the book. It's as good as the first movie, yet somehow different. New Moon has a faster pace that I wasn't ready for after the slow obsessiveness of Twilight. One similarity that I valued was that they were both bold enough to create artistic, dreamlike moments that reviewers often hastily chastise. Yet, overall, it was an advancement of Meyer's book.

The book was not that great, so I did not expect the movie to be great. It was good, it met the expectations that were brought about in the book. If the book was different, I would make 1 change, and that is giving Edward a bigger role in the movie, since everyone fell in love with him since Twilight. The movie skipped many parts that were in the book as well, it should have been a longer movie, since the book was about 400 pages.

In the book I really didn't like Jacob, yet Taylor really makes you want to like him. I was really impressed with the graphics this time around. The ending was a little hurried, which made the whole marry me thing not so akward as in the book.

Absolutely awesome! But it is VERY important to have read the books prior to seeing the movie, or you may be just a tad lost. I think when making the film, they relied on the fact that the fans had read the books, and therefore left a lot of explanatory details out. Nevertheless, I loved it!!!!

This movie was excellant. I've never been to the movie theatre where there was silence through the whole movie. No chit chat. No distractions. Everyone just watched the movie. It followed the book. Good acting. Jacob was hot!!

This was a great movie! Better than Twilight! Of course they skip some parts but it would be a 6 hr movie otherwise. It was fast paced and full of action. I love the wolves! They turned out awesome! I plan to see it a few times.

I would find it difficult to compact all the chapters into a movie, but this movie in fact achieved that goal.
I think the break up scene wasn't as intense as I thought being played out on screen...I think they could have made that scene longer to make us "feel" the hurt. It was just too quick, BUT I LOVED ALL THE ACTION!!!

This movie was WAY better than Twilight!! I loved it sooo much. I am probabvly going to see it again. Its worth it. It was worth the wait!! I saw all of the trailers and with each new one I saw I was like "Oh it's gonna be Good!!" and it was. Chris Weitz is awesome. Can't wait til it comes out on DVD. And also, can't wait until June 30, 2010, for Eclipse!!!

I think they did a much better job keeping to the book in New Moon than Twilight! i loved the song sattelite heart from the movie! It was so similar to when Bella compared herself without Edward to a moon without the earth. If you love the book you'll love the movie!!!!

This was my first time going to a midnight screening of a movie so i was really excited. I took my sister and went with 3 friends. The lines were crazy and even though we were last in line we got top seats haha. Movie was way better than twilight. Acting got much much better, i still feel rpbert and kirsten need to work on it though. Cinematography, action sequences and soundtrack are pretty good too. it actually stuck with the book much better and the scenes were edited more smoothly. I mostly went to see it for taylor lautner's hotness. Totally worth it on big screen. Im still hot from it lol.

Yeah, it did miss out on some key point in the book but the important parts are there. The graphics were totally awesome compared to the first one and I'm looking forward to see how they make Eclipse top this one. Glad I don't have to wait 1 year for that one. Really hope they do Breaking Dawn!!!!

In and of itself, it was a really good movie. But having the read the Twilight Saga three times, I was able to be a little nitpicky about things. The best part was definitely the wolves; the CGI department did an AWESOME job! If you've read the books, watch it with an open mind. If you haven't read the books, DEFINITELY GO SEE IT! It's worth it just to watch Taylor Lautner running around 90% of the movie with his shirt off!

I really happy that they went along the book more than the first one. i would really recommend everyone to see it. everything was awesome, funny and sad. the eyes of the Cullens look weird cause they are trying to fit in with the humans but with the their eyes are someone would think there was something off/different about them. other than that it was awesome.

This movie was AWSOME!!!!!! Worth the wait. The acting was much better. Taylor Lautner did a phenomenal job!!! Action packed,and the AB SHOTS!!! When Jacob took off his shirt and the theatre erupted in screams I wanted to swoon but was afraid to miss anything. Edward was gorgeous as ever. I like his clothing style in this movie and can't wait for Eclipse. I think from the look of it they are just going to keep getting beter and better.

The movie was absolutly fantastic. It did skip alot of essential points from the book and it felt like it was all moving to fast for me, but still when the movie was over I couldnt stop talking about it. The ending is not a surprise for the people who have read the book and yet the way it was set up and how it went down shocked me. Even thought I know whats going to happen (because I am a habitual twilight saga reader) I still felt like the ending was a cliff hanger. The ending was genius

I felt this movie was excellent. It was truly a better made film than the first episode: Twilight. This movie followed the book a whole lot closer than Twilight as well as provided amazing graphics that seemed very real. The action and one line comedic scenes were outstanding. I'd be lying if I didn't say that the shirtless men in several scenes also certainly made this movie quite enjoyable..
Summit Entertainment should certainly keep this cast as well as director for the next 2 movies - a vast improvement!!

im a huge twilight fan and love the book but of coarse the movie isnt as good, these actors blink to much! its friggen annoying and bella isnt suppose to look like she has turrets they need to calm down on her acting she studders to much but besides that jacob is gorgeous go him! and overall it wasnt that bad they left out some parts that i think were more important than others but still id rate it as a b+
