This movie was better than the book. It's as good as the first movie, yet somehow different. New Moon has a faster pace that I wasn't ready for after the slow obsessiveness of Twilight. One similarity that I valued was that they were both bold enough to create artistic, dreamlike moments that reviewers often hastily chastise. Yet, overall, it was an advancement of Meyer's book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
