First off, the movie was sooo slow. Pretty much the entire movie was just sappy, pathetic dialogue. The boys were just sad and pathetic. Can't complain about the shirtless scenes, however, but that may be the best part in the movie! I suppose the wolves were entertaining...for like 2 minutes. Oh, and not to mention, most of the acting was atrocious! Especially by Jake. I was honestly bored throughout the whole movie and wanted to sleep. I don't recommend this movie. Sorry...however, I'm sure the devoted "Twi-hards" will love it anyway. No matter how bad it sucks.

Alright, this movie is was great. I loved how you listen to the script and you can say "I remember reading that!". Chris really stuck to the book, and that made me very happy.

Better then the 1st movie but its just "Underworld" with teens. I get girl’s obsession with Edward and Jacob (they cast Jacob better then Edward), but none of the female characters are in anyway interesting and Kristen Stewart still blows. Bella is just an accessory (they guys could easily be fighting over who's better looking). I don't buy her as an angst ridden teen girl struggling with her emotions. She just comes off as stupid and ditzy, not confused or vulnerable. In high school, guys are the immature ones not the girls, but they are older (100+ years), which still sounds like they're creepers. What's a guy in his 100s supposed to find attractive about a teen girl? It does explain why they have that sophisticated, determined attitude.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I was so excited that I had an opportunity to take my daughter to this movie. It made me feel young again to see such a passionate, enticing love triangle between your typical teenager, vampire and werewolf. I had read the book, and knew everything that was going to happen, yet I enthusiastically sat on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next.

The writing and filming were infinitely better than what was seen in Twilight. The panning for enhanced drama, excellently chosen tracks to set mood, and the overall quality definitely shows more care than it's predecessor. I was shaking the whole time.

I pre-ordered my tickets for New Moon about a month in advance, I love the books and the first movie so I couldn't wait to see this movie! It was everything that I hoped it would be. There is action, heartbreak, and even some comedic moments in this one. I would highly recommend this movie for everyone...you will not be disappointed! The next countdown begins! 7 months and 10 days until Twilight Saga: ECLIPSE!!

I loved the movie.. It was great and so were the characters. The friendship and love jacob had for bella was awesome it made me like him sooo much more, plus he was great looking... Edward was awesome too u get mad at him for leaving but understand and really love him when he asks her to marry him... I would so go see it again and bring all my friends... i loved it

While I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie, I truly loved this one. You can tell the success of the first film brought them a much bigger budget. The effects were spectacular. The skin tones and lighting were better. As a HUGE fan of the books, I was very pleased to see the way the movie was done.

ok so i love how chris weitz kept it so close to the book! watching the movie was like having the book play in my head! the action was exactly what i was looking for and the werewolves looked amazing. new moon lived up to all the hype

Seeing New Moon with my little sister and cousin was such a treat, we all read the book and just could'nt wait till the movie came out.
When we went last night at 12.01am we were so excited we loved this movie everything about was perfect!!
The fight seens were most def. intense, but good.

It was more than worth the wait. Worth the lack of sleep the next day after the midnight showing and worth fighting the crowd of rude drivers getting out of the parking lot afterwords. Ten times better than the first movie even though I love it as a diehard TwiHard.

The movie was everything I expected........Awesome. I had a great time. Was moved by each actor and the director did a great job. There were a little things i would change but overall great performance and special effects.
The person who stole the show was Taylor Lautner. He did a great job bring Jacob black alive.
Great job New moon Cast.

Im writing on behalf of my mother , who allowed me to go see new moon at 12:01 . She gave in because of her knowledge of how huge of a fan I am . I refer the twilight saga to everyone who mentions it to me. I love it way too much , but its really a great sequel to read & watch. The director in my opinion does a good job on keeping the movie at the same pace as the book. Not many details are left out . Of course the characters are amazing . Theres plenty of action and the romance sure isn't left behind. You will fall in love with the moral of this story. " Love has no boundaries " . WATCH IT IMMEDIATELY !! =)

I order my tickets early Thursday morning for the midnight show. The wait was not bad at all the key is to get there an hour early lines were short and there were seats to pick from.
I don't think anything can compare to the books but in all I thought the movie was awesome and I just can't wait for the 3rd installment. Go team Jacob

After Twilight was a let down, everyone assumed New Moon would follow suit, but it was one of the best movies to date. The actors in New Moon seemed more relaxed and able to deliver their lines better, as well as have a better relationship on screen. The graphic quality was incredible, and the acting improved tremendously. New Moon was anything but a let down, and would definitely be a movie I recommend to someone. The actors performance drew you in, and the pain that Bella felt, you felt. They made you feel as if you were in the movie, and that is what made it so incredible. It is definitely a movie worth seeing, and if you get the chance, take it.

It was simply perfect! I found it to be magical. The love between Edward and Bella was pure and deep. The werewolves were hudge and played the role well. I was jumping out of my seat a couple of times. They captured the need for Bella to have Jacob. As well as putting slight humor in just the right spots. It was enough action that you were satisfied. Like I said above it was perfectly amazing!

I was not disappointed for one minute with this movie! I am a huge Twilight fan and this movie was like a dream come true to watch! It was exactly as I had pictured it in my head when I had read the book last year. Excellent, would recommend it to anyone, not just Twilight fans.

I loved it! I think that the special effects were much better in this movie. I hope they get Chris Weitz back for Breaking Dawn!! Can't wait until summer now for Eclipse.
All Twilight fans should see this movie. Don't be discouraged by people saying "it's dark and depressing"...if you read the book you already knew that!!!

Extremely happy with how close Chris Weitz stuck to the book with "New Moon"! Of course there are always things that are left out or changed in the film version, but Weitz did his best to keep with the heart of the story. Great job with effects and overall storyline, while still bringing humor into this emotionally dark film. Great acting by the entire cast, and you can honestly see the growth from "Twilight" to "New Moon". Very impressive! I highly recommend to everyone!
