SO much better than the first movie, Twilight! Was much more true to the book and characters. Fast-paced, emotional, great acting, great cast. Give this movie a chance and you will love it :)

Tthe plot went INCREDIBLY fast. They could've made two movies out of this, or at least added another hour. If I hadn't read the book, I wouldn't have known what was missing, but at the same time, If I hadn't read the book I don't know that I would've been able to keep up, it went so fast. The sense of loss at Edward's parting was missing, and the Voltourie, which were larger than life in the book, came across as just a couple of thugs. But the actors were great, the guys hot, :) and the plot was so much more closer than the first one. Over all, job well done, it was a lot of fun to see. Can't wait for the next one!

I took my daughter to Twilight and to New Moon. She has read all of the books several times over and she said this movie followed the book much better. She absolutely loved it. I think if you can get over all of the teenage angst and brooding then you'll enjoy this movie. It was nice to look at both shirtless guys and I will have to say watching these movies has really made me want to read the books. Overall I did like this movie and hope that my daughter will still like the series when the next movie comes out.

The Movie stayed as true to the book as they possibly could which I loved and the Movie it self was exciting and heartbreaking and endering. Taylor Lautner does a great job and I l Loved Victoria she is one bad a?? vampire!

I knew this installment would outdo Twilight, but I never thought that I would be blown away as I was! It wasn't just the performances from the actors that were better (direction really does have a lot to do with that), or bigger name cast members that made it better. The first thing I noticed was that even the picture itself was just better quality, brighter and more vibrant, rather than the dull gray/green/blue that seemed to be a fog over Twilight. I was immensely happy that they kept much closer to the book story with this one, and was thrilled throughout the movie with everything that was going on! Woo! It was awesome!! :)

It was very close to the book, but with a few more action scenes - like a physical fight with the Voltori. I have to agree with those who said the makeup wasn't as good on the vampires. The sparkles were fine, in my opinion, but the vampires just didn't look as beautiful as they're supposed to. As for the dude that said middle aged housewives should get a life, excuse me? Bad - mouthed idiots, like you, should get some manners. The target audience might be teenagers, but it's a movie all ages can enjoy.

The whole transit to and from Italy is removed and that was important time to learn about Alice and appreciate where she comes from. In this part she talks about her love for Jasper and about how she would be willing to sacrifice Edward, Bella and herself to save him. That speaks volumes to their bond and should have been included. Also the reunion of Bella, Edward and Alice with the rest of the Cullens at the airport helps to show the bond of the family. The decision to end the film when it did was an interesting one, I suppose it's a major cliff hanger if you aren't familiar with the books. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie but HIGHLY recommend that you read the series if you haven't you wont be disappointed.

New Monn was absolutly amazing chris weitz did an excellent job as director. twilight had 2 many added scenes and didnt tell enough and new moon had everything plus a lil more that fit perfectly the cgi was perfect. the wolves and the volturi ecspecially scared me a lil bit but tthey were portrayed perfectly hopefully we will see chris weitz again for breaking dawn

While I wouldn't say this movie was bad, I can't say its the best movie I ever saw... It is a dream for people under 25 who may not understand or recognized true acting talent when they see it. What I enjoyed about the movie was the wolf pack, which collectively are better actors. This movie was so much better then the first twilight story, in which I was left dissappointed since I enjoyed the book so much.
