i love love loved the movie! could not have asked for a better ending! i think it followed the books pretty well, better then twilight did. but i do understand that its hard to fit a 700 page novel into two hours, so well done!

My husband and I went to see this opening night. While the kids and even adults were rather out of hand getting into the theater it was still an amazing movie. I enjoyed it much more than twilight.

I have one complaint of how Robert Pattison portrays Edward. I don't know if it's his acting or simply how the script was written, but Edward's character (in book) is supposed to come off as eloquent, intelligent, and charming. Pattinson is often bumbling over his sentences, and has a tough time putting his thoughts into words. The music chosen in this movie was a little distracting as well. Dramatic scenes became cheesey, and in action scenes the music became bothersome. The werewolves look amazing; their fur and eyes looks great, and they were the best, meanest wolves I've seen in any movie yet. If you were fond of the Twilight novels I think that you'll enjoy watching this movie. It's worth one watch to see the story acted out on screen.

this is an awesome movie. Followed the book fairly well. But come on people! Get over it! The movies are NEVER as good as the book. So quit trying to compare. Just enjoy the movie like I did and will be doing again tomorrow! =)

I took my Girl to this movie because she really liked the books and I figured Vampires and Werewolves were in it so it couldn't be that bad, but boy was I wrong.
I recommend it for teenage girls, but it is Definitely NOT a flick for dudes.

I thought the this movie stayed closer to the book than Twilight. I thought there were some corny parts that could have been either taken out or done a different way to make it better. All in all I really liked it and will see it again. OH and can't wait till June for eclipse!!

I took my 14 year old daughter to this movie. She enjoyed it, 99% because Taylor Lauten was shirtless in so much of the movie. While this is supposed to be a vampire movie, there are no fangs, no blood (except when Bella gets a paper cut), and absolutely nothing frightful at all. This is simply a pre-teen lust fest (for girls) with not even a good story line.

I absoulutely loved New Moon! But I love anything Robert is in! He's the reason for my twilight saga addicition! This movie followed the book exactly unlike Twilight. Even Bella acted better in this movie, in twilight she was so clumsy and akward. I will be seeing this movie again and again! 7mths til Eclipse!!!

This is a must see! Lots of intense action! We see more of Taylor Lautner this time around; he really shines as Jacob. It's nice to see that the actors cast as the wolf pack are all of authentic Native decent. Some things are left out of the movie and a scene or two changed, but the changes are not too drastic from the book. Even though there's a great deal of sadness to New Moon, I found myself laughing more than expected from the bits of humor scattered throughout the movie itself. Chris Weitz did an excellent job directing, and the cast was perfectly chosen. You can't go wrong here. Action for the guys, romance for the girls, and Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart as Edward and Bella! Two thumbs up (two paws if you're a werewolf)!

I was really impressed by how closely the movie followed the book, of course there are always going to be some things they have to make a little more exciting than what was in the book, but that is always expected. Overall, it was EXCELLENT! I can't wait til it's on DVD so I can add it to my 5 disc DVD player which will consist of the complete Twilight Saga and of course, Pride and Predjudice...lol, great job!!

"New Moon" was definitely better than "Twilight." It included more events from the book than the first movie did. Taylor Lautner deserved all the raves he has been getting!!! I would still recommend that anyone that enjoys the movie but hasn't read the books...read them. It is so much better than any movie can portray. The read is definitely worth your time!

Movie followed the book and the ending was terrific! I thought the makeup on the vampires was a little heavy at times. It was a fun couple of hours. I enjoyed the fact that there were people of all ages at the movie - how fun to see anyone can enjoy the escape from reality.

The makeup was better in Twilight, but overall the movie was good. Could have had more action scenes, but it followed the books pretty closely. I loved reading the books first then I had expectations of the movie. I just love the story line between Bella and Edward.

Excellent interpretation of the book. The special effects were very well done. The Volturi were as creepy in the movie as in the book. The actors portraying the Volturi added a great deal to the movie. The interaction between the actors was much better than the first movie. Loved the ending, can't wait for Eclipse!

As expected, a bigger budget meant a better movie. Director Chris Weitz did a good job of staying with the book's central ideas and plot. Overall, the acting and special effects were more believable across the board. This book was my least favorite of the four, but the movie avoided the drawn out whining of Bella losing Edward in favor of establishing a solid relationship between her and Jacob that will be so important later on. Can't wait for Eclipse!

I loved New Moon! The only problem with the movie was that it was based on a book. For most movies, the book is better, so sometimes it's frustrating to watch a scene that you know well from the book that doesn't play out the way it should've. But other than that, the movie was great!
