Even though Twilight was low budget, the director understood the book and was able to capture the spark between Bella and Edward. This movie loses that. There's just no spark. Kristen S.'s actig seems to have gotten worse, and the director seemed to provide her with little guidance. I loved the series, and couldn't wait to see this movie, but left disappointed.

Although Rob had a supporting role in this movie, his presents was certainly there.
Taylor did an awesome job with the lead role.
Kristen as usual, portrayed Bella the way she was meant to be portrayed.
Although I was not expecting it to end like that, It certainly will keep you anxciously waiting for Eclipse.

Ok, I haven't read the books but my GF has. She was GLUED to them for a month straight as she fell in love with the series. That is all you hear walking to and from the movie, " You have to read the book to understand." Other than that the movie was pretty good. Im alittle over the 'high school girl cant find happiness thing", I think our society gets enough of the "Its ok to make dumb decisions as long as no one is telling you what to do".

WHAT A DIFFERENCE one director makes!. The acting & effects are much better when comparing NM to Twilight. The storyline flows so smoothly. NM has MANY more FUNNY moments and one-liners which DO seem intentional. Kudos to Taylor for doing a GREAT job. So many fans BEFORE Twilight came out were 'Team Edward' so I always felt as if the character of Jacob was overshadowed by Edward right from the start. The Twilight series is about a love triangle and Jacob deserves his moment to shine. I am glad to see so many more 'Team Jacob' fans now because Taylor is now finally getting some of the recognition that he has always deserved. Do yourself a favor and go experience NM on the big screen. It's a great movie!

If you are a twilight fan, the movie was Fabulous!!!! you will loooooveeee it!! I loved twilight, and this was waaay better. They stuck more to the book this time not leaving out as much, i cant stop thinking about it now that i have seen it, and i honestly cant wait to see it again! Cant wait to buy it on dvd as well!! The wolves are amazing, and the vamps look even more beautiful. Go see it!!!!!

Loved the movie, am looking forward to next summer for the next one. Taylor was perfect for the wolf, Bella and Edward played their parts perfectly. Like Charlie a lot also. The wolf pack boys were perfect also.
Read the books twice.
Guess what I'm saying is I am extremely happy with the series so far. Sorry they changed the nasty redhead,she was really good at her part.

The movie was excellent but still doesn't compare to the books. The ending I'm not quite sure if I liked it, because it was the most different. My boyfriend never read the books and he thought the movie was 'awesome'.

I have read all the books and I liked the Twilight movie but thought there was so much left out in that movie.
New MOon is amazing. I loved it so much. It was more spot on with the book and I had a great time seeing it with my friends.
My 6 year old is very excited to see it because he is excited about the wolves.
The wolves were done very realistic.

New Moon was a great adaptation of the book. It was far better than the Twilight movie, and I think this is largely due to Chris Weitz's direction. I was impressed with the depiction of both the wolves and the Volturi. In my opinion, the best part of the movie is, by far, the fight between Edward and Felix. This scene, though short, is creative in the way it was put together, and it is thrilling to watch.

The movie stuck much closer to the book than did "Twilight," so that was a plus. The only thing I missed was seeing a lot of the Cullens since they did not appear much in the film. However, this is true in the book as well; the Cullens were largely absent in the book. "New Moon", in the film and in the book, is mainly about Bella and Jacob's developing friendship. I would go see this movie again. :).

I was expecting New Moon to be a little better than Twilight.. it was wayyy better!! The CG stuff looked so much more realistic. The acting improved. The new director really knew how to capture the essence of the book perfectly. It was amazing!! Especially the shirtless Taylor... oh man! Definately a MUST see!!

This movie was better than the first, although it definitely won't win any real awards. The acting was better, and there was actually humor, which the first movie lacked. There was way more chemistry between Bella and Jacob than between her and Edward. The filmmakers need to really concentrate on this issue for the next movie.

I read all the books a few times and saw Twilight countless times. I loved New Moon even more! The new director did a fabulous job staying truer to the book and making the hues more natural. The actors played their parts to the "T" and the wolfpack was great! I was solidly Team Edward but I am wavering after Taylor's performance as Jacob..my allegiance is split!! FABULOUS CONTINUATION OF THE TWILIGHT SAGA!!

New Moon was absolutely great. Some friends and myself took my daughter and several of her teenage friends.
I have read all the books a couple times, and I preferred this movie to Twilight by far.
To me it was so much truer to the book, and thats not always possible, but they did a great job here.
While I am faithful "Team Edward", this movie actually made me love Jacob a little more, I think that Taylor did a great job portraying him.
And what can you say about Robert always great!!!!
Planning to see it again soon.

FAN-tastic follow up to Twilight.
My daughter, wife & I thoroughly enjoyed New Moon and feel it is quite an upgrade in all aspects from Twilight, and we loved Twilight.
Even though we know 2 more (at least) movies await, the way Moon leaves you completely hanging at the end was awesome! The whole audience was left aghast.......

New Moon lived up to it's predcessor Twilight if not surpassing it. I think alot of people out there might think oh vampires it must be a horror movie, but it is not. The deep down story line is that of a love story between Bella and Edward. And now with this sequel we have a love triangle developing. I would definitely recommend this movie. But for an even deeper understanding read the book.

This movie was what Twilight should have been. The first film was a joke but this one was amazing it was practically what I imagined in my head when I read New Moon. Bravo to Chris, he made this film perfect for the fans of the book series! And to the cast as well, they were fantastic!

this movie is so beautifully done! The actors really stepped up their game and are very impressive! Taylor is oscar worthy! I have seen it twice now and plan on seeing it 2 more times! Chris Weitz you are a genius! Thank you for staying true to the book and giving us twilight fans what we have been wanting since the first movie came out! If you havent seen it yet you are in for a real treat! I have heard from several guys that they liked it as well. Some might say its slow but I wouldnt say slow I would say it is thoughtfully delivered. GO SEE IT! =)

I thought the screenplay adaptation from the book was done really well. There is so much time passage and character development in this book that I thought was translated to the screen brilliantly. I think that Christopher Weitz directed his actors very well and his pacing was very appreciated.

If you liked Twilight you'll love New Moon. It stayed closer to the book, had more dialog and exuded the feelings expressed by the characters more effectively. Having read the whole series twice (reading teacher, can't help myself) I felt this movie was so true to the author's intent. The added dialog and character interaction really made the movie enjoyable.

New Moon has a darker theme with down tempo music (which i loved) and It is true to the novel with only a few cuts and changes. Overall its better than what the book described. Visually it is better than my own thoughts of how scenes would look. Those that know the story should be completely satisfied, and people who only know whats on screen will certainly be upset with the absence of Edward and the Cullens. I wish there was more scenes of the Cullens and Volturi because they are so entertaining to watch. In fact I would pay to see a movie about the story of both of them. It would be like an spin off of twilight much like Wolverine of X-Men, just a whole lot better.

I simply loved this movie. I've read all the books and the movie was an excellent depiction of the book. I had to remind myself to breathe. I had been waiting patiently for the movie to come out and it was well worth the wait. I love Robert Pattinson (team Edward!)but Taylor Lautner is so fine!
