This movie was so much better than the first. It managed to stay close to the book, the characters performed better, the action was great, the ending made you scream. It was well worth the wait in line.

What an unbelievable movie! Wanted to get back in the LONG line and see it again! A must see movie whether you have read the books or not! The ending WOW really makes you want more!! Eventho we can't wait until Eclipse we also can't wait to see New Moon again and again!! Great job!!

I brought my girlfriend to see this movie (we watched the first one together and she's been hooked on the books ever since and has been anticipating the sequel since the trailers were released). I was a little skeptical after seeing the trailers myself but I was surprised that it was actually an enjoyable second film. There was a bit more action/ suspence/ comedy in this film which I appreciated. The acting was on par with the first film and according to my girlfirend, it followed the book very well. Of course there were a few differences but thats always expected in any film adaptation. The CGI was also more impressive than the trailers led me to believe. Overall it was a well made movie.

I went to go see New Moon with a group of friends last night. After seeing Twilight, I wasnt expecting a lot out of this movie. But I was happy to find that New Moon was actually really good. The directing was much better in the movie, and the special effects were amazing. It closely followed the book and it brought all of the character's feelings to life. I wasn't able to hear every line spoken though, being every time a main charachter took their shirt off the whole theater started screaming lol. I recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of the Twilight series or just looking for a movie full of love and action

this movie was pretty crazy but i felt the first one flowed better. This movie was great but the director did a bad job of making the movie flow.
It was just huge part after huge part, no background music, no down time.
If you're obsessed with the first one like i am, you wont think this one is as good.
BUT STILL.. TWILIGHT IS AMAZING

Expectations were sky high and New Moon delivered! I saw in it a full theater, mostly female. There were screams, gasps and even tears. My ten year old daughter and I loved it, my husband a little less. The acting was better, most notably the other High School teens who were bizarrely immature in the previous movie. Taylor earned his place as a co-lead with his body and his acting. There's lots more action and great villains in the Volturi... My only disappointment was the music. The first Twilight had such a hip, cool soundtrack. This sounded a lot like any other movie out there, over-scored and a little old fashioned.

the acting and everything was much better than the first movie. it was interesting and the director did an amazing job making the movie as close to the book as possible. well worth seeing!

This movie is almost exactly like the book; I could not have asked for them to change anything. Great Cinematography, acting, and keeps you entertained. Especially if you are a Twilight fan. But some friends went with me that have not read the books and loved it too. I HIGHLY reccomend this movie.

The movie was awesome. I saw it last night and want to go see it again. Loved it! There was some parts added to it that were not in the book, like a fight scene with the Volturi. All in all the movie was really good and everyone should go see it.

The second book was my least favorite, but the movie was very well done. I was very pleased. The first movie did not have the budget to do the first book justice, but this one had great special effects. The wolves were awesome to watch. I can't wait for the next movie!!

I have been addicted to the Twilight series ever since they first hit the shelves and before they became extremely popular. Of all the books, New Moon was my least favorite. So, as I expected, I liked this movie less than Twilight. However, I did like how the new director made more of an effort to follow the book, and the movie was very good. I would definitely recommend this movie to any Twilight fan!

Where is the sweet, caring warmth, and starry-eyed Edward carved in the image of Leonardo Da Vinci? Not in the movie.Rob and Kristen chemistry? NOT! These two are no more involved than oil and water. While the audience squeals with delight when Jacob takes off his shirt, they audibly cringe when Edward takes off his. Kristen does a much better and less overly dramatic, more mature acting job. The rest of the cast is flawless. Taylor Lautner does a great job growing into his role in New Moon and his chemistry with Kristen blasts off the screen. Hot! Michael Sheen is perfection. Dakota Fanning is too. Can't wait for them in Eclipse! Robb,leave the silly Elvis/James Dean facade and sneer away from the Twilight set.

OMG I loved twilight and and bought the dvd most the time the sequals get worse but i can not say the same for the Twilight saga New moon I read all the books in about a month and new moon was my 2nd favorite. Most of the important details from the book were in the movie. I didnt think anything could ever be better that Twilight, well, New moon proved me wrong . Go Team Jacob.

I had seen the original and have been caught up with this movie from the start
It has been well writen, filmed and the special effects were great and believable and the ending left us wanting what is next

"New Moon" was really well organized and much more true to form than the first. The relationships were much better developed, so the unread could understand this important element. It was less frenetic than the first as well, with less distacting music selections. Overall, very well done, and the special effects at least appeared quasi believable (you don't see the strings this time). For the lover of the books, you won't be disappointed--the new characters are very good (except Dakota Fanning wasn't scary or imposing.)

OMG this movie is sooooooo Awesome! The effects are way better than in Twilight. I really liked the sparkle effects and the wolves were great. Jacob was hot and the story line was true to the book. I wish they had done a little bit more when they were leaving Italy it would have added a little more to set up Eclipse. Even so the move was so great and I cannot wait to see it again!!! I liked the scenes with the whole Cullen family and the one where they all vote on whether or not she should be turned. I think you get to see a little bit more in those scenes that you feel in the book about how she feels about them and how they love to have her around.
OK So I loved the whole thing!!
Cannot wait to see eclipse.

I am an avid book reader and love the Twilight books. New Moon was not or will it ever be my favorite book of the series, but I do have to say that New Moon the movie was far better than Twilight the movie. They really didn't stray to far from the book and they also didn't bring in a lot of stupid extra stuff. Fo the most part I enjoyed the movie and would go see it again.

i am a twilight junkie but i have to say i was disappointed. there were times i was actually bored. i LOVE the books & while this book was focused on jacob & bella's relationship, you still felt the passion between bella & edward & i dont think you felt it in the movie which was disappointing when it was so strong in twilight. i do hope the next movie they do something w/japser & rosalie's hair. jasper looked just crazy.

I was disappointed with the first movie thinking that they had left too many important details out from the book and that it was too short. New Moon was the complete opposite. I found myself sitting on the edge of my chair in my spots of the movie. I brought my 13 yr old with and a friend, all of us had an awesome time. I have to say though, I loved Edward in the book but it is hard to not want Bella to be with Jacob. He has one HOT BODY!

I thought that the movie was good and i was super excited for it. But to me as my opinion, i dont think that the director stuck to the book as much as the first director did. it was good, but to me alot of the scenes didnt look so real to me, the first one did. but i still love this movie, cause i am gonna watch it again. but i was hopeing that this director would have stuck to the book more. and i know that everything in the book doesnt always happen in the movie. but i wish they stuck to it. there were scenes in the book that i wanted to see, but it wasnt in the movie.
