I brought my girlfriend to see this movie (we watched the first one together and she's been hooked on the books ever since and has been anticipating the sequel since the trailers were released). I was a little skeptical after seeing the trailers myself but I was surprised that it was actually an enjoyable second film. There was a bit more action/ suspence/ comedy in this film which I appreciated. The acting was on par with the first film and according to my girlfirend, it followed the book very well. Of course there were a few differences but thats always expected in any film adaptation. The CGI was also more impressive than the trailers led me to believe. Overall it was a well made movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
