I thought New Moon was excellent! They did a great job keeping it to the book ~ I was hoping for that! Better quality film and acting than Twilight! Anyone who reviews this badley did not read the books....Absolutley amazing movie! I can't wait to watch it again and will be on pins and needles for Eclipse!

I loved this movie. It was better then Twilight which gives me hope that Eclipse will be better then new moon. I loved all the fight scenes. I'm definately going to see NEW MOON at least 2 more times.

Great movie and a fine follow-up to Twilight. Taylor Lautner sure is one cool wolf. The wolves were exciting, and who doesn't like buff bodies without shirts?
My only issue is the ending was formulated more like a television mid-season cliffhanger. The fans will be back, but I'm worried that first-timers will leave only half satisfied. The producers might want to avoid making the endings seem like soaps.
Definitely a worthy movie and one worth every cent of its success.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I went in not knowing what to expect and was thoroughly pleased. I think what people have to understand is that the books are books and the films are films. There have to be differences between the two and I think the team did an OUTSTANDING job of bringing the film version of the book to life. Why are you still reading this? GO SEE IT!

Loved this movie! It is much better than the fir st. Great special affects!! It follows the book very closley and I which it didn't have to end. Cliffhanger ending but if you've read the books you won't be surprised. I'm glad they put Edward in the movie more since he's not in the middle of the book much. Jacob sure "grew up" for this movie and looks amazing! Great acting by all. I will go again and see this movie with my family. I saw it the first time with my friends at the midnight so. So worth waiting in line for. Go team Edward!!!

This movie was absolutely amazing, I saw the premier on thursday night and it was totally worth only getting about 4 hours sleep, and still having school the next day :). I loveee Jacob in this movie, he did very well. But, im still a TEAM EDWARD FAN! I reccomend EVERYBODY see this movie, it is the best movie ever.

I really enjoyed this movie. I thought they did a great job on the transformation of the wolves and I was even impressed that the made the sparkle better even though it could still use a little work it was defindly better. I also loved the look of the movie its self it just looked better. I cant wait for the next one. Great Job!!!!

The movie overall sucked. Seriously. Lots of parts of poor acting, especially on the chicks' part. If they would have replaced her with a real actress, I don't think it'd have been quite so bad. It's definitely more for teens with the fact that they won't care, they just want to see hot guys and a little romance.

In the book I found Jacob's attachment to Bella annoying, but the movie completely made me feel the opposite...I am ALMOST a team Jacob fan!!! The love triangle is so much deeper in the movie than the book and you can tell that Bella is really torn between the two. The wolves were awesome, everything I had hoped for and Dakota Fanning was a great Jane, super creepy and scary!! A must see, better than the book, by far!!!!

My daughter and I loved the movie. We read all the books and the movie was pretty true to the book. I loved the special effects and the dialogue was much better than the Twilight movie. I am looking forward to next movie!

I am a Twi Hard who has read all of the books 5 times and I have to say, I was a little disappointed with the finished product. The appearances of the vamps were much better than Twilight, along with the CGI effects. However, the disappointment lies within the storyline. I do not think they stayed true to the book as much as they could have. Also, I don't like some of the parts that were just kind of made up and thrown in. For people who have not read the books, it would probably be a lot more enjoyable. As for the Twi Hards such as myself, I wouldn't hype myself up as much.

I thought the movie was really good, a little boring in some spots. I really enjoyed seeing Jacob turn into the wolve (great special effect) and I thought the fight scene at the Volturi was great!! I went to the midnight showing and took my daughter that evening. She really loved the movie and we can't wait for Eclipse to come out in June :)

This was movie was by far better than twilight, though the soundtrack wasn't as good and Taylor isn't that great of an actor. I found his acting almost as painful as reading the pages of New Moon after Edward leaves and before he comes back.
However, with that being said, I would totally go see this movie again, and again.

I let my daughter, age 12, rate this movie and this is what she said: ' I loved the suspense in this movie! You get to know Taylor Lautner's character (Jacob) better than in the first movie though you see less of Edward. The ending left everyone in the theatre screaming for more! '

I was one of hundreds that waited in line for hours to see the 12:01 showing of New Moon. I promised my daught that we would see it at midnight. Given that information, the movie did not disappoint. It was AWSOME. The way the movie tied to the book was great. I of course would have loved to spend 6 hours watching a movie made after the entire book but this shorter version did not fail me. I loved it and am going to see it again. Thank you Stephanie Meyer and Chris Weitz.

For all the huge Twilight fans, the movie is a must to see. I thought the movie was good, but can't compare to the first movie. Since, I've read all 4 books, I knew this movie wasn't going to be great because New Moon was my least favorite book out of the series.
