This was AWESOME!! This movie was better than Twilight! (But i still love Twilight=) This movie was true to the book and it exceeded ALL expectation! There was more quotes from the book which i loved! I would definately go watch it again!

It was AMAZING. It did in fact stay very true to the book without becoming too long of a movie though i gladly would have sat through it if it had been longer. It was kind of weird to see so much dialogue from edward because he said probably 30 words throughout twilight but i felt like i got to know the character better in New Moon. It was outstanding to say the least

I was probably the oldest person in the theater, and I will admit that there were times I thought it was slow, but overall it was a excellent movie, and fun to be in the crowd of young people. I've read all the books, and this was very close to the book, I was pleased.

Lautner's and Stewart's acting improved greatly (maybe b/c of new director?). Hair, makeup and clothing were better. Pacing was tight-that's good b/c there was so much to cover from the book. A few things that could have been better: Edward should have been able to show more fight moves w/Felix. He came across a bit Emo. Also, the studio should have made/let him work out more-his muscle development could have been better-up until now he hasn't shown skin, so what would the harm have been in having him look better? There's no danger in him making Jacob look bad- this reviewer is a fan of Edward, but Jacob is looking pretty darn worthy right now...All in all, I saw it 3 times on opening day and I loved it each time.

I really enjoyed this movie. It captured the book perfectly. I liked New Moon more than Twilight (the movie). I couldn't wait to see this movie again once it was over! Already recommended it to tons of people

IM NOT GONNA SAY THAT NEW MOON WAS BETTER THEN TWILIGHT B/C THE FIRST TIME YOU SEE EDWARD CULLEN WALKING INTO THAT CAFETERIA IS UNFORGETTABLE, BUT NEW MOON WAS MORE DRAMATIC. After reading the books, i was very disappointed with the first movie in the series. All of the previews for New Moon were promising, but I was afraid I'd be disappointed again. Sooo not the case! Directing and lighting and music were all much better than the first and this one was very true to the book and not choppy like the first. The CGI was much better and added to the movie experience overall. definately a keeper!

I've read all the books and I'm looking forward to seeing the next movie in the saga. I was VERY happy to see New Moon not only followed the book at a good pace, but the dialog was MUCH better too. I was disappointed with the 1st movie but I think the come back left the audience wanting more. I know I do!

This movie was so corny! I am a fan of the books and enjoyed the first movie and this movie was just to bland and you have to fight to pay attention. I was literrally laughing through the movie because it was beyond corny and the acting seemed to get worse.

I really wanted to love this movie, as I really love the books. It did stay true to the book, but the movie was too long. There were so many scenes that just dragged on, even missing minutes and minutes of dialogue. I almost liked Twilight better, because I didn't lose interest at any point in the movie. I'm really crossing my fingers that Eclipse gets translated to the screen better than the first two movies.

I think the director did a fabulous job of taking a very sad book and creating a uplifting movie out of it. I wasn't sure what to expect because this was the saddest of the 4 books. However, the movie was entertaining and fast paced. I loved it.

I've been looking forward to the release of this movie since I read all four books in May.Due to traffic I missed 40 min. of the beginning of the movie & sat two rows from the screen. What I DID get to see was very good & I do plan on seeing it again. One of the few draw backs was my seeing too many movie trailers as I felt that I had seen the "main" parts already & most of it was not new to me. The "werewolves" were great! I was worried about CG effects, but they did a great job and they seemed very realistic. The cliff hanger was fantastic and it was very obvious in the theatre who had/hadn't read the books by their reaction. Definitely creates anticipaiton for the next installment!

Wow, this was intense. All of the captivation you felt reading the book- well, it was just as entrancing. (I watched the first hour and half holding a large popcorn bag in one hand- paused to set it down...) The emotional rollercoaster was exhausting to a point. Just wow. I would watch it a million times.

The movie was GREAT!!!!! I would recommened watching this even if you weren't into the first one!!! Which you should be! The big difference was that it was a little bit too HOLLYWOOD! In the sense that in Twilight you could see that it was a under buget flim, but that didnt stop the director from catching the emtions in these characters! Wish that in New Moon they would have included a little bit more in some sences! BUT I STILL LOVED IT!!!!! CANT WAIT FOR ELCLISPE!!!

I loved how well the book was translated to film. I was struck by the juxtaposition between Jacob's larger than life feel vs. Edward's moody deadly romanticism. Loved the wolf pack and the Volteri. Must see for Twilighters - you will not be disappointed

The book was my least favorite out of the seroius but the movie did it justice. Kristen did an excellent job portaying her feelings to the audience. Taylor was great too, you could feel the connection between them. Rob did an awesome job you could feel the chem between them fade, but they had to set you up for the feelings between Kristen & Jacob. Everyone keeps complaining on how Rob looked when he took off his shirt at the end of the film, but he was suppose to look sickly & depressed without Bella & he did great. I would definetly go see it again in fact I am tonight & will continue to do so untill it comes out on DVD. Twilight fans lookout here comes ECLIPSE!!!!!

New Moon was a whole lot better than Twilight. Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have better chemistry, in my opinion. The story line kept really close to the book. It was funny. The werewolves were great eye candy ;)

Ok so I've heard mixed reviews on the movie and I have to say that I liked it. I actually liked it better than the first one. "Bella" overacted in the first one and so far the young lady has improved her acting skills.
Having said that, I love the wolves in this movie. I'm Team Jacob *S*
Although the wolves were computer generated it was still good and action filled enough.
I would say, however, please do something with Jasper's character. As the professional reviewer said he looks like one of the Marx brothers in a bad wig with cake paint on but he also looks like he is holding a gas bubble in and is squeezing his cheeks together really tight. *S*

I actually did not see the movie myself, i bought the tickets for my daughter and her friend to see it. Based on what my husband and i were told by my daughter, she LOVES it. It's probably the best movie she has ever seen aside from Twilight. The only thing that bothered her was that there were too many digital effects. It could've been made better.
