Book way better than the movies, so far

I really wanted to love this movie, as I really love the books. It did stay true to the book, but the movie was too long. There were so many scenes that just dragged on, even missing minutes and minutes of dialogue. I almost liked Twilight better, because I didn't lose interest at any point in the movie. I'm really crossing my fingers that Eclipse gets translated to the screen better than the first two movies.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
