I would definitely recommend this movie to the true Twihearts out there! The first movie was adapted as best as it could considering the budget, but with New Moon came a new budget and new director that definitely delivered. I hope to see more of the storyline played, even if it means the movie would be longer(heck, I'll stay to watch).

I was disappointed in with Twilight was that it didnt follow the book so well, but New Moon was the complete opposite. Very Important!The movie was amazing & I can’t wait until Eclipse, all though I am not too sure about the actor change for Victoria. Just have to wait and see. I am definitly going to see New Moon again and would recomend it to anyone that enjoyed the books and/or Twilight. Purchasing my tickets on Movietickets.com was also the best thing I could have done. It made the process easy, quick and painless. I was able to get my tickets much earlier than I showed up for the movie and walk right in without having to deal with the Edward/Jacob obsessed crowds. After New Moon my mind has been swayed and I am now on Team Jakeward!

This movie is awesome! Out of the 4 books written so far, New Moon was probably my least favorite (although still a great book), but the movie rocks! Realistic effects, great actors, and very true to the book. I can't wait to buy this movie & watch it over & over again.

I've read the entire saga and was pleasantly pleased the script was right on with the book. ‘Bella’ played by Kristen Steward was amazing. I know when I read New Moon I was tear stricken by her broken heart. However seeing her portray that role I sobbed. Not only could you see her pain and anguish but also you could feel her devastation through her acting.
I read over some of the other reviews and found some ridiculous. The scene of the wolves shirtless is TRUE to the book. When the wolves transform they are ripped out of their clothes due to the change in body size. In the book it is explained that when they hunt they tie a pair of shorts to themselves so that when they transform back into human form they have something to wear.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was real bad. I just went to see it saturday and for me it was the worst movie ever. Sure I am a fan but I am not the obsessed like some other people out there. This was worst than the first one.

I absolutely LOVE the Twilight books and I wasn't really crazy about Twilight when it came out. The directing on Twilight was not good, thank goodness they got a new director for New Moon. It was so much better, as was the acting. I can't wait for Eclipse!

New Moon was definitely worth the wait. Fans of the book will not be disappointed. I was concerned about the change of directors but without a doubt Chri Weitz did a fantastic job of bringing New Moon to life. I went to the midnight showing and I saw it again this weekend.

The acting was terrible, especially from Alice. The characters were flat. Jane wasn't scary at all. The truly emotional parts that made the book decent were missing. I realize that the book had a lot going on and the movie was really long even after they pared it down, but unfortunately it made the movie hollow and pointless. If I hadn't read the book, I'd have been a little lost. There's so much in the book that even in a 2hr10min movie, they had to jump from one thing to the next without filling in the "why should we care". Not that the book did a great job with that, but it made a valiant effort. This movie was better than the 1st though.

So, I had not gone with very high expectations from this one, going by the history of sequels and movies made out of books, but this one was a great surprise and a very very pleasant one. minus the few shortcomings of Rob and Kristen's acting, everything else about this movie was just GREAT!!Loved it and wld go again to watch it...and now I can barely wait till 30th June for Eclipse..Summit just raised the bar for themselves and David Slade.

After the first movie, I was worried that it would be like most other sequels, leaving me with nothing. However, I was blow away by every part of this movie. I don't consider myself a junkie when it comes to this movie, but I will say that I am impressed with the writer. She was able to take a teen love movie and make it for all ages. the only regret I have is that there is only 4 books.

Loved the movie-LOVED Jacob! I will like it just because it's Twilight and it can do no wrong (even if it was shot on a cell phone camera in my mom'sbasement) However - what was the costume designer thinking? Why are the warewolves wearing fugly cut off jeans? Track pants anyone? They got buttons on the side- maybe they wouldn't get shredded every time they phase! Why is Alice dressed up in my grandma's outfit in the yellow sports car? And Carlisle with the scarf around the house...kill me now! Makeup artists- Edward does not need THAT much mauve lipstick - he's a dude! And the nightmarish pants they keep dressing him in! How do you make Rob P's butt look wide!?I don't know but this costume designer sure pulled it off!Fail on that!

I loved New Moon, I went and saw it the day after it came out. It was so much better than Twilight. definatly followed the book more. Yes, it skipped some points and scenes in the book, and yes it's true that the book is always better than the movie. But this was defiantly worth watching. i enjoyed it :)

This movie was definitely better than the first one. It stuck pretty closely to the book and I wasn't disappointed the few changes made. Can't wait for Eclipse!

The movie followed the book fairly well...really enjoyed it, the 2 hrs went by sooo fast. thought the special effects were excellent. the essence of the book was definetly captured in this movie...loved it!!

This movie was quite a bit better than the first. Still to many slow times with Edward and Bella. Dissapointment near the end as Aro Volturi said Bella's mind could not be penetrated by their kind yet Jasper did it earlier when they spoke to Bella about her birthday party. Taylor
Lautner was the highlight of the show.

I don't like kristen stewart. I think shes a bad actress. That being said, I think that new moon was 100 times better than twilight. Other than some bad acting on Kristen and Roberts parts, it was awesome and worth the 3 hour wait in line. The direction was soooo much better, the graphics were better, and it kept more to the book than twilight did. I cant wait to see Eclipse and I'm glad that fans dont have to wait another year!

I must admit - as a twi-addict, I was concerned that the not so great acting/directing of Twilight would carry on to New Moon. My concerns were unfounded. Chris Weitz did an amazing job with adapting the book, without destroying the ending. People were ANGRY in the theatre, but he really did it the best way possible.

Ok I love the Twilight Saga books. I was not too happy with the movie Twilight, but New Moon was soooo much better. Thank God they got a new director, more of a budget, and the new characters were played by the actors just as I imagined. This film is much more by the book and has great special effects. I think the dudes would dig it too :)

I have never read any of the Twilight books and I only saw the first movie two times. This movie was AMAZING!! I have already gone to the movie theater two times to see this movie, the directing and acting in this second film are incredible. My brother and my boyfriend even came along because of the great reviews! Now I think I might become one of those "twi-hards"...

Just as a starting off statement, for those that have read the book, like myself, don't go into the movie with too many expectations. As the movie went on I noticed that there were many little changes from the book. Now I know that not all movies can reflect perfectly on the book that it was made from, but really they couldn't even match the colors of the bikes in the movie to the ones in the book?
Anyways aside from that, the movie itself was excellent. Definitely worth watching even if you aren't a fan of the Twilight Saga. The only differences I saw from the first movie and this one was that the lighting and camera angles were a bit improved.
Robert, Kristen and Taylor all did an amazing job of portraying their characters.
