I was very impressed with the way the story played out and how close it follow the book. The movie kept you on the edge of you seat for the entire time. I can not wait for the next movie in June and hope that the 4th will follow that with as much excitement. I love how that cast has grown as a whole together.

This was a great movie with what they had to work with. Obviously they couldn't fit the entire book in, unless we wanted a 4 hours movie. Although I knew and felt that a lot was cut out- I also knew that had to be done. Overall though, I loved it. I am a fan of the books and a fan of the movies and will continue to be. Can't wait for the next round!

Seriously amazing. This movie was so much more loyal to the book than the first movie, and was all around higher in quality of cinematography, acting, costumes, and makeup. I hope they can meet up to the expectations that will be created from this movie for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!

I have to admit, I had been very disappointed in the Twilight movie. I am a huge fan of the books and while I expect differences in books and movies, I felt the quality of the Twilight movie was greatly lacking. New Moon more than made up for it. You could tell the producers knew they had a sure thing and actually spent money on the budget this time, not only were the affects better but the lighting and even the acting. I felt like a lot of the actors must either have had lessons in between or the director was better at getting what was needed out of them. This movie was much more true to the books.

This was the first time in my 38 years that I have EVER seen a movie at midnight just to see the premiere! Oh, and it was well worth it. There are some out there that will say that it didn't take enough from the book - but they can only make a movie for 2 hours.... trust me - even if they made it for 5 hours - I would still watch it. I'd be like the doctors on grey's anatomy and wear diapers... GO SEE THIS MOVIE - only if you are a TWILIGHT FAN! Go Team Edward!

Yeah it's got a lot of drama but the girls seems to scream a lot when Jake comes on screen. He got "Spartan 300" huge! Actual fighting in this one. Unlike the "HARDCORE" staring from the first. Nothing says vampires are bada$$e$ like posing in West Side Story standoffish form. The baseball diamond scene was about as tense as warm jello. =P The budget on this movie seems to be spent on all CG since there is a considerable lack of shirts. But everyone I saw it with enjoyed herself! ;-)
Go see it! It's only made 72 million on the first day and they really need your support in Hollywood! Peace!

I don't want to say this movie rocked, but I don't think there is any other way to explain it. The graphics and development of characters was above my expectations going into the movie. Of course with Twilight, there was a lower budget and the stress of grasping the characters in the right way so Twifans wouldn't have a heart attack. I really enjoyed the movie and was totally into it the whole time. Job well done to the actors caused they totally kicked butt in this movie and I can't wait to see them in Eclipse.

Much better graphics, dialog, character deveopment, and make up than due to a larger budget (I'm sure) and probably popularity. A lot of people complain that it drags, but the book wasn't full of explosive fights or even intimate conversations...Bella was in deep depression, and people aren't very fun when they are depressed.
The Twilight saga isn't full of vampires that are stereotypical...if you want some saucy crazy vampires, watch HBO's True Blood (completely 180, but awesome). Still, some were what I generally imagined vampires to look and be...the Volturi for instance. I love the Cullens, but it was also refreshing to see some blood thirsty, I'm going to rip your throat out vamps. :)

Ok, let me first say that the critics do not know what they are talking about! this movie was fantastic!!!! I love everything about it, specially that they include the most important parts from the book!..........I can't wait to see the next one!! and for those who didn't like the movie or the ending of it, you have to understand that there are a couple of books left, and they need to follow it, so the ending had to be this way. I love the movie and i wouldn't mind watching it again and again and again!!

Love it! Goes with the book very accurately. I started the Twilight books when Twilight just came out in paperback, bought New Moon in hardback and had to wait for all the rest to come out! That was misery waiting! I loooovvvved this movie! Even better than the 1st. It was everything I hoped and waited almost 2 years for!

My mouth dropped.. I love the movie!! I so want to see it again and again. It was better then Twilight and I love Twilight. This movie was really good. I liked it, it keeps you on the edge and I kept up from the first movie so that probably helps. The beginning of the movie was kind of slow but once it picked up, it picked up nicely!

This is definitely one I will want to see again and again! Alice, my very favorite, has a much bigger role in this movie. I haven't read the books, but I am really hoping that Dakota Fanning's character will have a bigger part in the upcoming movies! She was awesome.

I heart this movie!!!! First of all, it stays true to the book and things that were changed actually worked for the movie. I am surprised that I actually enjoyed the whole Jacob/Bella relationship. And I am forever Team Edward. I found their "friendship" very endearing and found myself feeling just as sad when Jake "broke up" with Bella as when Edward left her. I have watched it like 3 times already!!!

I loved this movie! I saw it twice in a 24 hour period. New Moon was done better than Twilight. It stayed truer to the book and the bigger budget definately showed. Our favorite characters, Bella and Edward, return but we get to know Jacob more and Tayor Lautner did a fantastic job. I went in Team Edward and came out Switzerland! I will be seeing this again!

I loved Twilight, but New Moon takes the cake! They didn't leave anything out or ad anything that made me think "What the heck was that?!" I've seen it twice already and plan on seeing it as much as I can until it comes out on DVD. You will not be disappointed with this movie if you are a big Twihard like me. I couldn't believe how well it was put together an how much better the Cullens look and how well they did on the wolves. All I can say is New Moon is my personal brand of heroine!!!!!

The chemistry between Jacob and Bella worked. The secondary character comedy was enjoyable and clever. Bella and Edward romance scenes were awkward. Over all it was well done by C.W.
