This was one instance where I actually enjoyed the movie better than the book. I have read all the books and now I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the saga.

I do not read the books but my wife does. She said it was as good as the book. When you first meet the wolves they are a little fake, but later in the movie they look much better. They really get your attention and hold it to the end. You have got to see this one.

I was a little dissapointed I think the book had more to do with Bella & Jake then the movie did. I didn't feel the "love" between Bella and Jacob the story line was alittle rushed to bring the Cullen's back into the story however I would still watch this movie over and over again. I think anyone going in that hasn't read the books will be thoroughly satisfied as well as people that have. I try to remember that books and movies do differ. Anyways the movie was good, I expected a little more out of it...maybe all the sneak peek trailers ruined it a little? I'd still reccomend this movie to almost anyone.

First off, I am not, nor will I ever be a fan of this series. I do appreciate that these books are getting young women to read, and that is a good thing, but please. The books are so badly written it is a farce and the acting was atrocious. I snickered all the way through. Best thing about this movie? Tyler Lautner's chest. Easiest thing to watch. The rest was just painful. Oh, and the CGI wasn't bad either.

What can I say, boring story, lousy acting and screaming 13 year old girls in the theater. All this adds up to a terrible movie experience. Not worth the price of a ticket but might be worth a dollar when it is available to rent .....

The graphics were significantly better.
The story was very respectful to the book.
The fashion was significantly better.
A few moments of bad camera work (nauseously looking around … to show passing of time) could have been done better.
My daughter(12yrs) and her soccer teammates(12/13yrs) went to the movie. They loved it. The mom's also really liked the movie.

I thought this was better than the book. New Moon wasn't my fav of the books, but the movie was great! Kristen Stewart is still a bad actress, but the other actors can carry her well enough to not make it so painful to watch. Can't wait to see it again!

This movie was the best movie in the series so far. This movie had it all comedy, romance, action. I went and saw it two days in a row and every easily could go back everyday and see it. It kept you interested through out the whole movie. Can't wait until it come out on DVD!!

They did a fantastic job with this film! Much better than the first one. The Vampire's eyes looked more like the book described, victoria's hair was vibrant red and the werewolves were done fabulously! They obviously couldn't get the whole book into the movie but they did an awesome job getting as much as they could into it! And the time lapse between months that bella goes through was done fabulously!

This movie was fantastic, it blew Twilight out of the water for everything from special effects, to dialogue to the way the director handled key situations. The movie followed the book so closely it was fantastic! Another great thing about New Moon was that there was humor infused at key moments, almost all of the main characters had funny moments and some key lines that will be quoted over and over again were included. I also thought the songs fit perfectly with their placement in the movie, I was not about some of the songs but they fit perfectly.
I have seen it twice in the first two days and want to see it a few more times, the second time viewing it was even better than the first.

new moon was above expectations. twilight was not that well portrayed. they managed to stick to the book really well for a two hour movie. it was also pretty funny which you do not expept. it was not all dark like twilight just because it's a movie about vampires. it was appropriate. my only complaint is taking some premature material out of eclipse already. like the cliffhanger. other than that, i could see this movie everyday.

As one of the many people that read all the books before seeing the movie, I thought the movie was actually better than the book. New Moon was my least favorite book because of the lack of action until the climax. The movie added the needed action, not a boring part. For anyone that has read the books you will not be disappointed, none of the important parts of the book or left out. From a non reader point of view (my sister), she loved the movie as well. She was sad when Bella was left and anxious as Bella tried to save Edward. All in all, New Moon was 100 times better than the first movie.

I watched this movie with the theater filled with teens. They made their own effects, of ohh's and aww's. None the less, the movie was great. I enjoyed the book more, because everything was more vivid and more detailed. The ending is just where they want you. To come back for more. It seemed to me they left you hanging. It defiantly makes you want to change teams. I'd watch it again. I loved every minute of it. Two thumbs up.

New Moon was fantastic, stayed true to the book,, amazing cgi effects LOVED IT, LOVED IT. The only thing that was a let down was the music, there is nothing memorable like in the Twilight sound tract were every son was great. Can't wait for June of 2010.

This was everything I expected and more. I was Team Edward and now I am torn, Team Jacob had me @ " I would never do that to you". Overall the best. I will be re-reading Eclipse & Breaking Dawn to get the jump on things, June 2010 is way to long. A must to see. Great Job Chris W. !!!!
