If you're one of those folks who already hate Beck with a passion because he has the audacity to exercise his right to free speech; then this movie might not be for you. But if you're a fan or just an open minded person looking for a good Christmas show, then I highly recommend The Christmas Sweater.
This show enhances the book and Beck's one man show is impressive. I was glued to the screen the whole time (even though I already knew how the story would go).
The best part is the Epilogue with Beck interviewing people who claim that The Christmas Sweater helped them face their storms. It was an inspiring note to end the show on.
And, believe it or not, Beck also fit in a relevant Tiger Woods discussion!

My wife and I went to see this movie and came away absolutely convicted to get in touch with our families. Glenn is a master story teller and educator who lived throught the experience all over again. He is correct...time with loved ones is such an important gift and so many of us take this for granted until it is too late. We have made a decision to travel to see family this holiday thanks to this performance.

I had just finished reading the book "The Christmas Sweater" a few days before seeing Glenn perform it and tell his story. It is so heartwarming. I wish I could get the video or that local churches and parishes would be able to show it. It definitely is a great movie to see as we all prepare for the real meaning of Christmas! I thought it was a great one man no props movie. It is the type of story you only hear in church but never see stuff like this in the secular world. Its so awesome to see someone have the COURAGE to do what he does everyday and take the heat that he does for saying these things. He may not always be right on with everything you believe but he has something that is rarely seen in today's culture. God bless Glenn and his family for standing up for freedom and believing in the power of redemption!!!

Having read the book, the book is better (no surprise), and different scenes I imagined were better than Glenn's interpretation. A good chunk of the book was left out, and the T-shirt hawking outside the theater left a bad taste in my mouth. All that being said, I was impressed with Glenn's acting, and for those who don't have time to read the book, this is a great quick way to ingest Glenn's story. I wanted to see how Glenn was going to condense and act out the story, and to hear how this story affected others' lives. Having done so, it was a thoroughly satisfying evening. I especially enjoyed the music from the talented singers.

We were very pleased with The Christmas Sweater and I am also reading the book. I will probably purchase some additional books to give as Christmas presents.
Glenn has a strong message or redemption and faith and it is what I needed at a time when our country is having so many problems.

This movie is just what we all need to see during the mad holiday rush. I laughed, I cried(a lot) and then I just felt at peace. I highly recommend it for all adults. There is something unique about this movie that will touch your heart in a very special way.
