Having read the book, the book is better (no surprise), and different scenes I imagined were better than Glenn's interpretation. A good chunk of the book was left out, and the T-shirt hawking outside the theater left a bad taste in my mouth. All that being said, I was impressed with Glenn's acting, and for those who don't have time to read the book, this is a great quick way to ingest Glenn's story. I wanted to see how Glenn was going to condense and act out the story, and to hear how this story affected others' lives. Having done so, it was a thoroughly satisfying evening. I especially enjoyed the music from the talented singers.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
