The movie was excellent, I took my parents as a Christmas gift. However, we went to a second showing, due to the first one being sold out, and the screen was extremely distorted and the sound was a bit low. It was very distracting to watch because of the way the picture made everyone appear. Would have expected better quality for the price.

This was a great inspirational movie. We went for both showings and the second time I got even more out of it. We took the kids the second time and a friend. Everyone has their storms to face and everyone can benefit from this show. I recommend it to everyone. Take friends who are in the middle of a "storm." Even if you don't like Glenn, you will like this show. Personally I think Glenn Beck is a Great American.

I found Glenn's life story very open, honest, and real. He shared his very personal journey to help others feel they are not alone. I took three friends to the "live" performance, all were very moved. Then my wife took her friends to the "Encore" performance. A very timely positive message.

I am very glad I spent the money! The show was excellent and thought-provoking; the music was lovely and the message was pertinent to the times we live in and to the season. Glenn is a talented person who is giving so much of himself to the world. I pray blessings on him, his mission and his family!
My one complaint has to do with the theater. Somehow, the show appeared distorted on the screen. Everyone appeared to be from Munchkin land. I am highly disappointed to have saved & spent $25 to watch such a poor representation of this show. I could've gone without seeing Glenn as a hunchback; which is how he often looked in side views.

The movie itself was excellent. Glenn is certainly multi-talented. However, I went to the second showing, and the movie or screen was so distorted that it was hard to concentrate on the "plot". The people all looked squished and elongated. I was TERRIBLY disappointed, especially having spent $26 on the movie! Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the movie itself, and Glenn, but the screen or whatever was HORRIBLE. I'm thinking about asking for a refund, or at least expressing my disappointment, as I was REALLY looking forward to seeing this.

There were six of us who attended the encore presentation. 4 of us thought it was great, the other 2 not so much, but I think it was because they have not faced their personal storm yet. I knew what a good TV/Radio personality Glenn is, but I got a better view of his talents while watching the Christmas Sweater A Return to Redemption. He was very transparent. It was both humorous amd a tear jerker. A must see for all who are going through problems and those who will go through problems, which of course is everyone. Take your children to see this movie so they can appreciate the non-commercialized meaning of Christmas.
Glenn puts it all on the line to share his own story, through the stages from entitlement, to victimhood to finally redemption. The story is told simply, through his alter-ego "Eddie", a young boy who first loves Christmas but after his father dies, becomes bitter and moody, not appreciating his mother's efforts to provide Christmas.
I have to warn you though, the movie is a bit long in parts but overall I would recommend it to all who want to get back the Christmas spirit.

Glenn Beck did an awesome job telling his story of the Christmas Sweater. We would have loved to see it live. It was so nice to see another side of Glenn. He has truly inspired many people. My husband and I could relate to different parts of the story as our young adult lives are slightly different. We would pay to see this again. Glenn if you see this we would also love a DVD to share with our daughter and the rest of our family. Again truly a great job by Glenn and the singer and musicians. Thank you Glenn for sharing your story with us.

What a story and what an actor! Glenn Beck did a magnificent job at creating the feelings needed to portray and share his message with conviction. I only wish I could have seen it live. That would have been even more awesome!!!

First I should mention that there were technical glitches of epic proportions. Instead of seeing Glenn Beck, or "Bece" as it was spelled on the marquis, we were shown, or rather tortured by, a horrid, dark opera by Berlioz. Glenn Beck would find that humorous. It started and stopped no less than 3 times, and yes our money was refunded and we were given tickets to boot, but it was extraordinarily frustrating. We only got to see The Christmas Sweater beginning an hour into it, but it was a beautiful story, like the book. My only criticism is that someone should have directed Beck to throttle back. Too intense for too long a time. The entire movie must have been exhausting to watch. But this was his first effort, and he is remarkably talented.

The movie was great. It was a taping of one of his live performances. The author told the story similar to his reading in the audiobook. Some of the sub-stories of the book were not told, but the overall spirit of the message was strongly conveyed. A small orchestra and a vocalist provided the musical expression of the story. It was a great movie for the whole family, especially all those "tweeners" who have to have a Wii or an iPhone or else they will hate you.

Very different format - it is actually a one-man play. Glenn Beck plays the characters and narrator well. The accompanying message is poignant, one of hope, very uplifting. Could be life-changing for some people.
