I bought tickets online at the last second in a movie theater out of my city because everything else was sold out....dragged my husband along. To my Suprise MY Husband was very touched by it. He now is sending all of his buddies to go see the second showing and of course I loved it!

This was a wonderful moving presentation based on Glenn's book The Christmas Sweater. I would suggest you read the book prior to viewing the movie, it will help give you a better perspective for the movie. We have made the book part of our family Christmas tradition. If the book and the movie do not bring tears to your eyes you really need to find your "Russel". Watch the movie or read the book and you will understand what that means. This was definitely a touching movie if that is what you are looking for, however I spent $21 to see this in the movie theater and have to say that it wasn't worth that. Of 3 of us who paid that to see this movie, all of us felt a little upset that we had spent that much to see it.

The audience!! As a former creative writing teacher, I have an aversion to the "and then I woke up" genre, but if it was good enough for Dickens, then it is Ok for Beck. I think he does an amazing one-man show, his acting skills are right up there with his research skilsl. What I think is most important is that this is redemption story straight from the heart of an honest man that has touched many and actually helped them through the storm of life. Several family members and a friend accompanied me. The Beck haters, who know him only through his many critics, would see a sincere man with honest emotions should they ever risk an objective appraisal of his work first hand.

I went with my husband, who is a die-hard Beck fan. I am not. However, the show was well worth seeing. Shades of "A Christmas Carol" in that there is redemption and second chances in life.

When I arrived at the theater it was full. Everyone was talking as if it were a meeting before the show started. There were several women handing out tissue saying you will need them. I thought that was a bit overboard. Within 5 minutes of the show starting there wasn't a dry eye in the theater. The movie will touch your very soul and bring back your childhood. The show will also help you understand life's bumping road we have to take from time to time. It also answers the age old question - "...why did this happen to me?...". The program was most unique in presentation. Glenn was outstanding in his performance of young Eddie. Me and my POSSLQ loved it; but my daughter and granddaughter left before the conclusion. They complained of Glenn's crying and perspiring. Although I told them it was a one-man show which requires extreme effort, they were resistant to change their opinions. I didn't know what to expect - part live, part previously recorded...but it was an incredible surprise! Glenn's honesty was very moving and his emotions (for which he is constantly teased) were genuine and welcome in this presentation. I went with my parents and my sister and we all thoroughly enjoyed it - we laughed out loud and were equally moved to tears. The story is amazing and well presented. One suggestion: I would have liked to have known who the young people were singing in the beginning and at the end - we looked for credit and did not see it. They were very a sweet addition for the Christmas season.

I'm 48 and I took my 14 year old son to see this. I figured he thought it would be boring, as he is a typical ADD kid who likes alot of video games. On the way out he said it was the best thing he's ever seen and he could not stop crying near the end when Eddie was trapped in the cornfield and when Eddie reconnected with his grandparents! I'm personally going though a storm right now and it inspired me to know WHO I AM! Thanks so much for providing this show, even though I had to drive 40 miles to see it.

Had only heard about it before I went and saw it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was different than I expected but was very good.... Felt that Glenn Beck did a great job creating the charactors and how they flowed so well together. The story itself is very well done and has a great uplifting message woven into the story. I LOVED it! I went all alone and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It made me cry, laugh and remember long ago as I watched. The show was spectacular!!!! I would recommend it to everyone. It touches your heart and I identified with alot of the feelings brought out in the show. The whole show, the singers, the music, the props and, most of all, Glen's performance were excellent!!!!!

Technical difficulties (sound went out) threw the rhythm off the story. Took 20 min to fix, then overshot the rewind feature so we had to watch 10 minutes of the show over again. By then, all the sniffing, snorting and crying in the audience had stopped. Pre-show choir was a bit off key. But it was during the story that my husband lost concentration. The main soloists in the show was overweight. I guess her obesity distracted my husband from the story. That's his problem. In spite of the technical difficulties and the other minor things, we thought the story/message was priceless. In fact, perhaps "The Christams Sweater" is the new "Christmas Carol"! We'd make this story a tradition. Will make sure to bring kleenex next year.

Most enjoyable, powerful and moving. Reminded me of my wonderful parents who taught me to be a hard working, decent, and loving individual, husband and father. Mr. Beck is not only doing a great job for America in his radio and TV shows but is also being an instrument of God with his sincere demonstration of his faith in HIM.

I enjoyed this movie! It made me laugh, cry and realize what is really important, not only at Christmas but everyday. At any moment a important person can leave our life and forever change us.
