The audience!! As a former creative writing teacher, I have an aversion to the "and then I woke up" genre, but if it was good enough for Dickens, then it is Ok for Beck. I think he does an amazing one-man show, his acting skills are right up there with his research skilsl.
What I think is most important is that this is redemption story straight from the heart of an honest man that has touched many and actually helped them through the storm of life. Several family members and a friend accompanied me.
The Beck haters, who know him only through his many critics, would see a sincere man with honest emotions should they ever risk an objective appraisal of his work first hand.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Five of us older women, teacher types saw this and 4 of us REALLY liked it. One hated it. . Ellen Page's Bliss is wonderful to watch. I didn't really notice much bad language. I agree w/Bonnie Boo. The entire cast was very well cast. I would and have recommeded this film. Laugh a lot,. cry a little..what more could you ask?
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I like this type of Sci Fi that deals with some of the real issues of our time. This one is the price a society is willing to pay in loss of human contact for a "safer, saner" society. It is a condemnation of GREED and the loss of humanity we achieve we we try to create perfection. I really liked the absence of foul language.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this, but often found that we were the only ones laughing. I had the feeling that most of the audience just didn't see the humor or else their funnybones were broken.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
