The moment I saw the trailer, I knew that this movie will NOT disappoint and I was right. Dali's early years never received a lot of focus and I think that seeing this story will allow people to understand what went on inside hsi head, to understand where and how his "genius" came about... Robert was a great choice for the role... He took it beyond limits...

I loved this movie! The pain and love between the Federico & Salvadore Was both beautiful and heartbreaking. In a time where people had to be ashamed of their love. The acting was beautifully done. I had reservations because of Robert Pattinson being involved be but he proved me wrong. This is an very fine up and coming actor who I can not wait to see in future projects. A must see for anyone looking for a solid historical account of three very wonderful artists!

I loved this movie. What drew me to it initially was Dali. I love his work. I didn't really know who Frederico Garcia Lorca was. Though the movie involved much of their relationship Dali and Garcia Lorca were VERY close friends, it's Garcia Lorca's life that is more interesting to me and more tragic. I am so glad to be opened up to this famous Spanish poet and playwright. The Actor that plays Garcia Lorca is fantastic. The Dali role is well done though some say it's comical but hey that was Dali. Go see this film but realize it's not so much about Dali as it is about Garcia Lorca and his life which intersects with that of Dali's.

Stunning....I think the film was brilliantly shot. It is just a very small period of time in the lives of the characters, but very well chosen. The acting was incredible. The range of emotions was great. All of the characters were so very believable. It was easy to feel Dali's pain ....and the end is heartbreaking.

This movie was shot beautifully and the actors did a superb job. You simply forget they are acting and mistake them for the actual artists themselves. The storyline was moving and the scenery was gorgeous. Very well done. This movie deserves all the bravo out there! And if you're emotional like me, be sure to bring a tissue for the ending. Its heartbreaking yet phenomenal.

While giving an accurate description of Dali's life in Madrid and in Catalonia, the film-maker also has an overall theme which is NOT biographical - that true genius requires sharp intellectual stimulation to be motivated reach it's peak and cannot fully flower in a vacuum. The stimulation in Dalis' life comes from Federico Garcia-Lorca of Andalusia in more than one way. , The contrast of the lifestyles and life goals of the two is magnificently drawn in this movie. I went to see it with someone who was actually a visitor in Dali's Catalonian home, and she indicated that the movie include scenes actually shot inside his real home. Arrow
