I took my 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son to the movie yesterday and could barely make it through the 90 minutes. My son felt the same way. It appears the writers were in a hurry and just want to get something completed and in print. The story line was not only predictable, but disjointed with very little flow. The dialogue was boring and unimaginative. I don't believe I heard more than a couple of chuckles from the audience the entire show.

I liked it! I liked the first one too. The mountain goat had me laughing so hard! I agree that the plot was predictable but come on! It's an animation!!! It was well worth the money I put out on it. Music was great again, and Twitchy was good. It had a moral to it as well. All in all a good flick.

Red Riding Hood is a bossy, cranky, unlikeable girl in this film. The 4, 7, and 8 y/o's did watch it from start to finish, and declared it "pretty good" but my friend and I found it boring and completely uncharming, Pixar, what's up? I guess the run of great Pixar movies is over. The movies the entire family enjoyed watching at the theater, and then buying the DVD so it could be enjoyed again and again at home. I think we have 9 or 10 of the previous 11 movies Pixar/Disney made....we will not be adding this movie to our collection.

I took the kids to see this movie this weekend and it was a big disappointment. The animation was not great, the story-line was mediocre and I just was so unimpressed. This is a movie that the kids will likely enjoy - but definitely NOT worth spending the money in the theater.....wait until it comes out on DVD and RENT it (I wouldn't even BUY this movie).

As usually I had to go with my son to this movie too. Unfortunately compared with all other movies for kids from the last 3-4 years, this one is by far the most dissapointing. There are several moments that you might smile but it does not worth spending 1.5 hours for them. My son did not enjoy this movie too much either. Regarding the action, even a very young kid would find it puerile. I would have given it 1 star but I did not leave before the movie ended.

I enjoyed the first Hoodwinked but found this one really bad. The plot was stupid, the jokes were not funny. My 7 year old and I did not laugh at all....and neither did the rest of the theatre. I think I heard 3 faint chuckles the whole time! 10 min into it, I found myself wondering why they even bothered to make this movie at all! There was no neccessity as far as the continuation of the plot from the first movie! I love kids' movies in general but was very disappointed in this one. My daughter and I watched "Rio" the same day as Hoodwinked, and it was 100% better in every way!!!

The movie was entertaining, but seemed to miss the mark compared to the original. While funny at times, even hysterical(wolf in costume), it didn't live of to the constant humor of HW #1. My older two made the same comments. The youngest(6) was entertained the entire time.
