not worth even matinee prices

Red Riding Hood is a bossy, cranky, unlikeable girl in this film. The 4, 7, and 8 y/o's did watch it from start to finish, and declared it "pretty good" but my friend and I found it boring and completely uncharming, Pixar, what's up? I guess the run of great Pixar movies is over. The movies the entire family enjoyed watching at the theater, and then buying the DVD so it could be enjoyed again and again at home. I think we have 9 or 10 of the previous 11 movies Pixar/Disney made....we will not be adding this movie to our collection.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Funniest movie ever!

From beginning to end this movie provides so many repeated moments of hilarity that even if we haven't personally experienced them, we can laugh out loud at! The underlying story is sweet, and I caught myself really rooting for the cake baby and the cop! The food poisoning scene in the bridal salon, the conversations with the "air marshall" especially made me roar with laughter! My husband was like, "ok I will go see a chick movie with you" and he lauged every bit as hard as I did and kept laughing randomly everytime he thought of a scene for the next day! Undoubtedly the funniest movie I have ever seen!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good Family Flick

I took my 6 and 8 year old, the 6 year old girl had seen it before and loved it the second time as well, the 8 yr old boy enjoyed it as well. I wouldn't have seen it without kids, but it was fast moving, cute music, a little action, and comedy sprinkled throughout.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
