This was an excellent sequel. It was funny, entertaining and had good action. What more can you want. There were enough inside jokes for the comic book fans, too. All in all, well worth the time.

Overall a good movie. As good as the first I am not sure. Glad I went to see it. I was at the first showing on Friday, I am a fan. I was hoping for more in the scene where the bots all land around IronMan. I was expecting a bigger fight. However, Glad I went and I will go to 3.

The beginning of the movie it was kind of slow setting up the plot lines...yes multiple plot lines but once it got moving it was non-stop. They did an excellent job making us hate Hammer and also putting us against Ironman's friend "Rhodes". I really enjoyed the movie. Was it as good as the first one? Yes. For a sequel, I would rate this at the top. I like Don Cheadle but liked the other gentleman that played "Rhodes" simply from the fact of keeping the characters consistent.

Sometimes I think that movie critics have too much time on their hands or just think they could have done better. It's not the first movie, it's the second. It's a different story.
I went with two of the kids (22 and 15), saw it in IMAX and all three of us had a great time. It was fun, loud, fast and enjoyable. The special effects were great. Mickey Rourke was perfectly cast. The action scenes were entertaining. It was a fast two hours.
One suggestion: stick around for the end the credits.

Out of this world fun time I've had in a Long time. Iron Man 2 was one of the best superhero movies of all time. My boyfriend had been waiting MONTHS for this movie to come out, and since it mattered so much to him, I thought "Sure, why not? I'll go." I have to admit that I was thoroughly entertained throughout the 125 minutes of run time, and actually found myself having fun. If you're a girl who's on the fence about seeing this "guy flick," get over yourself- this one's worth it! :-)

Overall I really enjoyed Iron Man 2 but felt the first hour and a half was too slow, then 30 minutes of action crammed in at the end. The special effects were amazing and my only regret was I didn't see the IMAX 3D showing. Scarlett Johansson looked amazing as always thought a little more action scenes with her would be good. I recommend this movie to everyone, especially 3D versions

Iron Man 2 is a smart movie. It knows that people come to see it for two reasons; one being Robert Downey Jr. being Robert Downey Jr., the other being big action set pieces. Iron Man 2 delivers on both accounts with gusto.
Special merit should be given to Sam Rockwell, who's Justin Hammer is truly a delight to watch as he weasels about the screen.
If there is anything that disapoints in this film, then it would be the final confrontation with the main villain. It almost feels like John Favreau forgot about it and then had to tack it on at the end. It's rather anticlimactic and if you blink it's over.

Fun follow-up to the first Iron Man. My hubby assures me they stayed close to the original comic book story. Downey's performance was well done... maybe not as crisp as Iron Man 1 - Paltrow is perfect match for Potts - Johansson actually did surprisingly well in an action role, Cheadle & Rourke were excellent additions & Bettany was a real surprise! Clearly they did some some set-up for another comic-based movie to come. Over all - a fun night at the movies!

Though I enjoyed the first Iron Man more, this was a decent sequel to the first movie. I did not think the plot line was as good though the effects were still amazing.

Overall I love the movie. Now for the breakdown, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark could have had more time on screen this is his movie after all, but to Robert I say great job you truly play a great Tony Stark. I was a bit upset that Terrence Howard didn't repraise the role of Rhodey however Don Cheadle did an amazing scene with Robert at Tony's birthday party as Ironman and Warmachine had it out. Dispite Don's great job Robert took the scene from him with the roar to scare the public away from the dangerous battle scene. Now on to Scarlett Johansson as Natalie Rushman / Natasha Romanoff, all I have to say is I loved seeing you kick butt but did you have to do such a amazing job as to steel the show cause honey thats what you did. Now sad as I was not to see enough of Gwyneth Paltrow playing Pepper Potts but I understand she didn't have enough star power to match Scarlett Johansson's curvey body to make leading lady this time around however loved your final scene with Robert hope to see you in a longer role if there will be an Ironman 3. Now more Important the role of Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson, Mr. Jackson please you had better have a major kick butt role in the Avengers movie that is ahead cause if not I am going to spit on the Ironman 2 HDDVD when it comes out cause buddy no offence but I didn't feel you in the role sorry for being honest. I suggest to the Director of the Avengers you need to recast Nick Fury cause Samuel L. Jackson I just don't feel him as Nick Fury. Request to the Director of Ironman 2 don't just add deleted scenes or extended scenes in a section actually put them in the movie rework it for the HDDVD release. Loved the movie completely could have been more aircombat but hey beggers can't be choosey. Looking forward to Thor's Movie hope it shows Thor's Losing his hammer in it or coming to Earth to pick it up.
