I saw Iron Man 2 yesterday, and I have to say, this sequel was definitely worth it! The verbal exchanges between Tony and Pepper; and then Tony and Roadie were just downright hilarious! The action sequences were very intense and loud, and the star power was great. Mickey Rourke, Don Cheadle, and...Garry Shandling!? Yes, Shandling's in there, too! I would say overall, this was definitely as good as the first one. Also, without giving away something important...do not leave during the closing credits. There's something after it. I'd recommend this one to anyone who loves a good action-packed movie!

I loved the first one-hard to top. As a sequel, though, this one did not dissappoint- I really, really liked it-it was a fun movie! The special effects were amazing. I've never been a comic book fan, but Robert Downey Jr- turned me into an Iron Man fan for sure! Sure hope there's going to be a #3!

Favreau was successful in not falling into to the sequal sandtrap and instead gave us in the mighty-Marvel-manner what true believers almost wanted while not making IM2 overly predictable and right out of the comic book pages.
As a parent, my nine-year-old didn't like how Tony hits the bottle during his birthday party. Most of us that grew up reading the comic book, I refuse to call it a "graphic novel," know that Tony Stark has had a history with the bottle, and was the intention of the creators to give him a vice that many in America can unfortunately and possibly relate to, thus making him more human rather than super.
Parents of younger viewers, be prepared for this topic if it comes up after the knuckle-bumps subside from another Mighty Marvel Movie!

Very good sequel that doesn't live up to the first, because it can't, but still a great movie in its own right. In the first IM, we saw Tony Stark travel from a self absorbed spoiled rich kid wandering thru life to a tycoon with a greater purpose. Of course, after making that trip, he can't go back and just make the same trip again. Instead, he has to take a different journey this time under the watchful eyes of the nation (and Sgt. Fury). Action scenes are great! The movie avoids the trap of trying to follow the formula of the first. Downey, Jr. is the show (again) and plays cocky, spoiled, insecure, and passionate all at once. Not the original, but still well worth the ticket price (and the price for the DVD later).

Definately recommend IMAX for this movie! Still be good but not as great. The visuals and sound are stunning. overall I personally liked the 1st one better but this one was great (all the kids preferred this one). I cannot stress enough ... I thought this movie was great. Love all the hidden messages. The action was great. You see that destructive side of Tony Stark but as how vulnerble he is. My favorite scene in the movie is the fight between Tony and his best friend you can just feel the intenseness of it. Black Widow I thought was eh. She was hot and they taught her how to fight and thats why they gave her no lines. Overall everybody's proformance was good. I really can't wait for what Tony Stark has next.

Iron Man 2, is a good follow-up to the original Iron Man and will keep you entertained. However, it does not live up to the original as so many sequels fail to do. This movie has plenty of action mixed in with melodrama to tell the story of Tony Stark after finding out how to power the Iron Man suit and keep himself alive. Gwenyth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke and Samuel L. Jackson lend to keeping the franchise going. Cheadle follows through on Terence Howard's original performance and provides a great sidekick character to Downey Jr.'s lead, Rourke is terrific as the new villian, Gwenyth Paltrow delivers a solid performance, Downey Jr., is once again his eccentric self (and terrific at it as well) and Johansson, what more can be said than watch for the frequent costume changes and her sizzling performance while kicking butt towards the end of the film. Iron Man 2 does deliver, and all in all you will enjoy the movie on whatever day of the week you decide to go!

Aside from Tony Stark's narcissistic attitude which is typical of most successful bachelors, this movie also depicts current trends on copyright/ patent infringement issues, obnoxious politicians, greedy yet childish business competitors. Action packed, with the right amount of sexual tension between Tony Stark and Scarlet's multiple characters. I expected a more smooth transition during Scarlet's fight scene though. It was so obvious to be more digital effects. And if you're not bothered by blood toxicity issues, IronMan is awesome! Favreou did a great job!

Iron Man 2 was fun and perhaps a great lead in for the War Machine movie(If there is one.) The only faults I saw is that Whiplash's story was probably originally meant for some other foe such as Crimson Dynamo and not him. The only conclusion I can come to is that there was a drastic rewrite of script. This time Tony's problem with drinking is given a harder edge. Which sadly seemed somewhat ignored in the first one. His narcissistic tendencies are also addressed which was another improvement. Which makes this one just as fun as the original. Not a must see but also a consideration.

I read several negative reviews about complicated intertwining plots, slow start, etc, but saw Iron Man 2 anyway. It's fantastic. Any critic that says otherwise spent too much time trying to analyze and judge and not enough time trying to enjoy. Go see it.

Ironman 2 is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Robert Downey Jr. was again on top of his game and did a wonderful job as Tony Stark. The action sequences were great as were the dialogue back and forths between Stark and the other characters.
Definitely a must see.

Love this movie. You gotta watch this movie in IMAX just to feel the intensity of it. As always Robert Downey made the whole movie great! Can't wait for the next sequel!
