My opinion on this movie is that it is happy,sad,upsetting,and touching.I would recommend this movie to everybody I know and anybody who reads this review.

The character performance by Sean Penn is by far one of the most amazing he has given. I could hardly look away as he radiated the warmth and sincerity that Harvey Milk surely showed in his dealings with others. It was a wonderful movie and I would recommend it to anyone!

What an incredible movie. Milk was one of the most impressive and entertaining movies I've seen all year. I knew how the movie ended but i still couldn't help but cry. Sean Penn was great as Harvey Milk. I completely forgot i was watching Sean Penn. There were also great performances by James Franco, Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch, and the rest of the supporting cast. It was a great movie overall! Definatly a must see!

This is mandatory for anyone concerned for the human race. Penn is excellent but the story, even thou hollywood-ized is unbelievable in it's fearless heroism and the selfless life Harvey Milk lived for the good of all. He is another MLK as far as I am concerned but homosexuality is not as glamorous as racism so his story goes untold.
