The movie was good; I would not say Great. I love DiNero and Pacino so I would see any movie they are in together. I am a fan of Dexter; started as a showtime series and moved to regular TV. I found righteous kill to be a copy of Dexter and not as good of a copy. Granted Dexter is a series and has time to build a more complicated plot, but the underlying theme is the same. Dexter beats righteous kill anytime

How could a DeNiro, Pacino movie be bad? My fiancee and I ran to see this movie on its opening weekend. It was very disappointing. The story was dragged out and my two favorite actors walked through their performances. Aside from one great twist, I don't think many people will remember this movie. My advice, wait for the dvd.

It was a good movie, because you are duped right from the get-go. The entire time my reactions were towards a situation that wasnt even happening in the movie. I enjoyed the suspense and dialogue. However, as much as I love Brian Dennehy, he really looked out of place in the movie. Age has taken over and it really spoiled the movie for me. And for DeNiro and Pacino, it might have been better for them to casted as cops who were called out of retirement to consult on the police case. Other than that, I have a thumbs up!

It took time for the film to draw me in, but once it got going it worked for me. DeNiro and Pacino still know how to light up a screen. Good ending. One viewer in another review suggested that it would have been better to see them in a mob or gangster film. I wouldn't mind seeing that, but that would have been expected. This was at least a little different, although both of them have played cops before.

I was really excited to see this movie so I went on opening night. It was entertaining enough and I do love these two actors but you figure out the "big twist" way too early. There are mulitple areas to the storyline but none really go anywhere or become very developed. I was expecting much more out of this movie - instead it was a bit flat and disappointing.

Robert DiNero and Al Pacino are the two finest actors from their generation. The idea of pairing them for only the second time is an alluring one. Unfortunately the opportunity was blown with a lousy script, weak story, and exaggerated acting by both of these guys that should have been checked by good direction. The films a mess- if you want to see these guys together rent Heat. Michael Mann kneww what to do with these guys.

The best part of this movie for me was the closing credits, because it meant it was over and I could get the hell out of there! What were these two vetran actors thinking taking a part in this poorly written, boring, slow moving piece of crap? I just don't get it.....Very disappointed in my two favorite Godfather guys!

Very entertaining movie, but then I am sure that DeNiro and Pacino could make a Spongebob Squarepants storyline into a edge of your seat nail-biter. Curtis Jackson proves himself to be quite competent in this genre, no doubt inspired by his co-stars. Brian Dennehey shines as well as the ubiquitous police chief. John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg's characters wonderfully contrast their elder peers. Carla Gugino, all I can say is WOW.... All through the movie I was surprised by the apparent simplicity of the plot, I knew there had to be a major plot twist coming for this screenplay to have attracted these titans of the big screen and I was not disappointed and neither will you be if you see Righteous Kill.

I liked the movie very much. The story is very interesting, and the script is well written. Movie was well directed. Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino were terrific, especially Al Pacino. He really has no equal. Still has that extraordinary face and eyes.They are NOT too old to play cops; Ttheir age was not a factor. .I only wish Robert DeNiro would not have sneered so much, but when he reacts to a negative situation or a character in a movie, no one does it better; he doesn't even need to speak.. The chemistry was there. Usually the hardest thing to accomplish in a movie is a successful ending; this one had it. Also, no one has given enough praise to Carla Gugino; she was very good and she is very pretty. Well cast. Well done.
