My 10 year old son thought this was "soooo cool" and his dad and I laughed and both of us were crying at the end. Really hits home for parents and young adults with the "leaving home" thing happening. I would recommend it to ANY age and the 3D just made the experience amazing.

Though this movie is targeted for the younger kids adults will appreciate the humor. Good plot line and introduction of new characters such as Ken and Barbie. Only negative is the amount of attention given to the neglect, abuse, death of unwanted toys. Good points team work, unity, and the importance of lasting relationships. We saw the 3D version not sure it added that much to the movie other than the cost of the tickets. The 2D version would have been just as good for most people.

Totally surpassed my expectations. I love every Toy Story movie, and this one I have to say really brought everything together. The story line and plot humor were fantastic. I have to tell you, I didn't really expect this movie to be more than mediocre. Why did I go see it then? I took my 18 year old daughter - we wanted a night out but as there is too much drama in our everyday lives, we wanted a lighthearted and fun movie. This seemed like it would fit the bill. I figured it would be another "trendy" (rolls eyes) movie with fake laughs and overanimated with jokes in bad taste, etc. Instead, what we got was a very intelligently written, solid plot & lovable characters. Movie was hilarious and very engaging - I did not want to get up for even a minute and miss any of the performance. We saw the film in digital 3D, which was very neat. Graphics, animation & originality in this movie were top notch. Highly, highly recommend it!

This movie was great. My wife and I took our children and grandchildren to see it in 3-D. Everyone enjoyed this movie and were still talking about it the next few days! It however didnt need to be in 3-D as there were only some parts that needed it.

I took my little brother and sister to see it and they loved it! Talked about it the whole ride home. I especially liked the movie because I grew up with Toy Story. I'd definitely recommend seeing Toy Story 3, especially in 3D.

I saw Toy Story 3 yesterday with two of my nine grandchildren. It was incredible. To be funny the creators didn't have to resort to cheap potty humor or other trash. It was beautifully done and an incredible experience to see it in 3-D.

This movie will go down as one of my all time favorites. I am a 47 year old female and enjoyed it as much as a kid would. Even my teenage sons ages 17 and 20 said this was a great movie. At that age group, that says a lot. There were positive messages in the movie too for all age groups. I will definitely buy this one when it comes out on DVD. It is a keeper and one to pull out and enjoy with my grandkids when I have them one day.

The movie was lovely. It reminded me of the time when I was a kid when I had to give up some of my toys :( I just loved Toy Story and this one was the best of 3. It's original and funny and I guess I was a little nostalgic at the end. Still it's really worth watching it!

Loved it! Very clever! Some situations were a bit dark for young ones, but the humor makes up for it. I know everyone is into making 3D these days, but do not feel 3D made much of an enhancement to this movie. The characters and story stand tall on their own!

I saw toy story 1 (TS1) and thought it was a great movie indeed. I didn't see TS2 because I didn't think they could top TS1 and I didn't want to be disappointed. I saw previews for TS3 3D and thought it looked not only promising but the fact it was going to be in 3D made it impossible to resist seeing it. The 3D CGI was amazing and brought a very real feel to the already familiar and beloved characters. Add the excellent comedy writing, stellar story telling and great voice-over acting of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen and company, the Barbie and Ken comedy element, and you have the best Toy Story movie ever. This Disney / Pixar movie was so well done, the emotional parts actually made my wife and I emotional. And the comedy was really very funny. Hats off. two thumbs and two big toes up to Disney and all involved for this gem of a movie.

Never saw TS 1 or 2 so I can't compare this one to previous movies. The toys are cute, the story predictable, and the ending was satisfying (but a little "sappy"). I thought that parts of the movie were too intense for very young children...and the bear, baby doll, monkey, and Ken were villainous and creepy. Also, the middle of the movie was a little slow. Best part: the 3D! Favorite characters: Woody and the telephone.

I have heard that this movie was nearly as good as the first movie. I disagree. This movie was actually better than the first movie. The only disappointing part was the 3D. It was completely not needed in this movie. If I hadn't wasted the extra $3 for the 3D experience, this movie would have received 5 stars instead of 4.

The movie starts off REALLY slow. I was looking for more acton, like TS2. Lotsa Huggin/Lovin Bear was a BIG disappointment (as my girls love bears). The end was more for the grown-ups than kids, too. Barbie and Ken were cute but a little too sensual for my taste for my kids. Overall, I'd wait until it comes out on DVD. I loved TS1 and TS2-HUGE fan but was pretty disappointed with TS3. It was also the first time I had seen a cartoon in 3D in a movie theater. A lot of the animation did NOT go out toward you as I would expect (saw a few 3D at Disneyworld...not even CLOSE!). Overall, WAIT ON THE DVD...NOT WORTH THE $11 PER TICKET!

I've now seen this movie twice, I can't say I got much more out of 3-D because truely, the BEST part of this movie is the story. This clever plot is filled with funny antics of Ken and Barbie, favorite toys from older years, cute pop culture references, colorful characters and a really heart-felt story. Take a date, they'll adore you, take a child they'll be amazed, take a parent, they'll want to hug you (awww, the ending), take some friends and they'll laugh at memories of the toy box. Even if you haven't seen TS 1 or 2, you can appreciate this movie on it's own because it truly stands alone in the summer movie roll call. Do NOT wait for DVD - this is the future highlight of your weekend!
