My husband and I brought our three Grandsons to see Toy Story 3. Ages 5 to 10. The movie was great for all ages. I even laughed a few times. Great movie with and excellent story about taking care of your toys. I didn't think it had to be in 3D though. The previews before the movie offered better 3D effects than the movie itself. I would highly reccommend seeing the movie and I will purchase it when it comes out on DVD so we can watch it again.

3D effects are completely unnecessary for this film. This movie is a triumph because it is based on the core concepts of any great film: Excellent storyline, loveable characters, action, and comic relief. The touching moments are made even more powerful because of the familiarity so many of us have for this franchise. Don't spend the family fortune to see it in 3D or Imax. Just go see it !!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but after seeing the first 2 movies with my son, I figured this wouldn't disappoint. Boy was I right! We saw it in 3d, which made it THAT much cooler, but the movie had a really good story line, kept my 4 year old son perfectly occupied and you know that's not easy with a 4 year old. Overall it was a great family movie with a great plot. If you haven't seen it, go see it, you won't be disappointed.

I took my 14 year old daughter, my 10 year old son, and my 1 year old daughter they all enjoyed it even my 1 year old sat still during the whole movie. I highly recommed it to everyone if you love pixar you will love this movie and it's great for your family.

My family enjoyed this movie. It was a little scary for my five year old. Some of the scenes were intense for little ones. We loved the ending and as always some parts were very funny. We did not think the 3D effects were worth the extra money.

All of the Pixar animations are great and this one does not disappoint. The graphics are so real that it looks like there are real humans acting on the screen. Ths movie has tied in all three pictures better than any other trilogy! As with all Pixar movies it is written on two levels - one for the young children and one for adults with sly inuendos and references to things happening when we were young. I can;t wait for it to come out on Blue Ray so that my collection will be complete.,

This movie is highly entertaining for all ages. I took my 4 year old son and we both laughed and enjoyed the movie. I see a lot of animated movies, and Pixar has set the bar high again with great storytelling and animated, fleshed out characters. The opening train sequence is great and the prison break scene reminds me of some of the best--The Great Escape, Shawshank Redemption, etc. I would highly recommend this movie to all ages...you won't be disappointed.

The first two of the Toy Story series were great, but this one was the best I thought. I laughed, I cried, and realy enjoyed every minute. I took my teenage son and daughter to see the Disney Digital 3-D version and we absolutely loved it. Never having seen a 3-D movie before, I was blown away by the effects. Initially we were worried about having to sit so close to the front in the 4th row because the theater was so full, but the seats were perfect.
The story was excellent, and quite moving at times. We all were a little teary-eyed by the end. Thanks to Disney and Pixar for continuing to bring us such creative and inventive entertainment.

Totally Awesome! It was a wonderful experience. Our family went for Father's Day. My husband and two daughters. We had seen the other 2 movies together previously. The girls and I cried. It was very emotional seeing the third movie together. The girls were small when the first movie came out. What a wonderful experience. I don't want it to end. A great, great movie for all ages. Woody always has a valuable lesson for us all. "We're Andy's toys". He never forgot where he came from.

As I expected, Pixar has come out with another winner!! My husband and I saw Toy Story 3 and liked it even better than either previous Toy Story movies. Short version - Run don't walk to see this movie just as good if not better than the first two!!!
I was reading about Toy Story this morning and how it slammed all other movies taking in record gross profits since it opened at regular theaters, 3D versions AND IMAX theaters too. I'd see it in IMAX again if any friends wanted to see it, in hindsight I think we missed out on some of the nuances of the animators by being glazed over by the 3D glasses.
There was nothing about this movie I didn't like! I absolutley LOVED it and would easily pay $12+ to see in IMAX! The jokes were fresh and real and just as enjoyable if you were 4 or 44. It was the first time in a long time I heard the ENTIRE audience applaud during and after a movie, it was just good hearted fun filled with laughter and if you wear your emotions on your sleeve (like I do) be prepared to cry too! There are MANY scenes that even after the movie are just GREAT conversation starters too for children and/or adults! My wife and I talked about how emotionally powerful some of the scenes were and we were watching a animated flick and we're talking about emotions and feelings - boy did we get our monies worth!!!
I totally enjoyed the subtle call backs to the previous movies. They weren't overpowering or gimmicky they seemed authentic and real and as mentioned subtle, you didn't need to see the previous movies to get it but it just made those scenes that much funnier!
I liked the emotions on the faces of the toys too!
I rate movies based on how much I thought they were worth, $15 is what you pay for a 3D movie these days and $1 is your Redbox rental, while I'd prefer to see this moive in 2D IMAX it was totally worth the $15 we paid for it and worth every penny we were entertained and felt a swaray of feelings for the entire 109 minutes!
So what are you waiting for put your sneakers on, warm up your cheeks for laughing, bring tissues for the crying and get running to the theater!!!

There just isn't that many good trilogies out there, but after I saw Toy Story 3, that number just grew by one. Most movies, the first one is great, the second one is usually a good follow-up and when part 3 comes out, it just seems like it was slapped together at the last minute. I can't say that about Toy Story because all 3 were just great, well put, great plot and establishes key lessons for the little ones while making it funny. The great part about movies like these, is that the writers kept in mind that parents are watching this movie too, so they find ways to get the older people to laugh. All I can say is, it's great when the movie is over and everyone claps at the end!

I grew up watching these movies and as soon as I heard they were making a third one I knew it would be great, and it was. I would recommend this movie to anybody.
That being said, the 3D didn't really add to the movie that much and wasn't really worth the extra money.

This movie blew my expectations! Despite an innuendoe and a hinted curse word, it is my favorite movie for 2010. There was an excellent amount drama, and the story was awesome. I loved it, my friends loved it, and my family loved it! =^)

This movie rocks. It naturally progressed from the first two and my wife and I were in tears at the end. You'll just have to see for yourself. Well worth the price of admission. Have seen other movies this year that left us feeling "not worth the price of admission". This one however was worth it and more.

I had heard that part of the movie was scary and so was a little nervous, especially since we chose the 3D version. I took my 3 & 7 year old and neither one was ever scared ever during the movie. I made sure to laugh during anything I thought might be (typical mom) so they would think it was funny as well but I don't know if I would have needed to really. The 3D was cool. It wasn't as dramatic as I expected but with such little kids that turned out to be a good thing. Finally, my only disappointment was that the typical one liners that made adults laugh in the prior movies weren't present. Oh well. Still a great movie!
