What's there to say that hasn't already been said? Christopher Nolan, like David Fincher, specializes in dark, cerebral films and this is no exception. The acting is top-notch, the action scenes are inventive and visceral, and the 2 hours and 30 minute run time could not have gone faster. The only thing that seemed to bother me was that Bruce Wayne seemed to take a backseat in this one, receiving less dialogue. I absolutely loved Batman Begins (I am not just saying that because I still haven't decided which is best, I am no jumper of bandwagons) and this is an exceptional sequel. I just wish that the Academy hadn't fawned over the overrated Slumdog Millionaire.

I saw the movie at imax...it was great....Heath Ledger was the best, Just one thing in the theatre... the music was louder than the words...missed a lot. Would have given it a five star if i could have heard it better.

Imax made this film cooler than on dvd. Heath ledger's performance as the joker was fabulous. I just saw it on 2/7/09 with my aunt and uncle. They're reccomeding it to their friend.

best points: good ensemble performances (particularly Heath Leger & Aaron Eckhart), complex & satisfying plot, some wonderfully sharp & vertiginous shots in the IMAX version; lesser points: plot gets overloaded & somewhat confusing at the end, sound in IMAX presentation somewhat too loud (fingers in the ears helps), too bad the whole film wasn't shot & presented in IMAX (but that would have cost a fortune)
