the opening shot makes you feel like you're flying over gotham city. the car/police s.w.a.t. vehicle/truck chase makes you feel like you are in that sequence fighting for your life. the imax scenes and the regular scenes were cut together seamlessly, and played out really well. if you haven't seen it yet, do it in imax. if you have seen it already, do it again in imax. if you've already seen it in imax, see it again in imax.

Overall a great movie. Loved the special effects and the IMAX experience, but the movie was just too long. I think 2 hrs would have gotten the point across. Joker was awesome! Batman's voice was weird....

I thought the movie was great and had really good makeup. I think batman sounded fake when he talked. It would have been better to have something a little better to bruce wayne's way of talking. The sound was great most of the time. There were areas where it was just to loud. I'm not talking about the booms, mainly when horns and high pitched stuff came in... I'm going to be an owner when it comes out.

I saw this movie at the City Center 15 theater in IMAX, and in the Standard-Digital print. The IMAX is so much more amazing, clear, and the sound quality is totally different. The only negative I have towards seeing this film was that the IMAX in NYC at Lincoln Theater seemed brighter, and more clear. Still, if you've seen it already, go again this time in IMAX. Brilliant film.

I had wantd to see The Dark Knight in IMAX, to see what all the hype was about. Although I try to see films in IMAX when possible, the fact that certain shots / sequences was both good and bad. The longer action sequences in IMAX were great and added greatly to the film. However at times it would take me out of the film when it was just an overhead shot of a skyline. I understand what was trying to be accomplished, I just felt it was unnecessary. As for the overall film I really did enjoy it. It was a very smart film and gives justification and reasons for both character desicions and why things may differ from the first film.

well as i already have a wicked thing for batman in general, i do have to say this is the way it should have been all along. i love the dark, sadistic feeling to it. in my opinion it is by far the best batman movie. i don't care what anyone says, christian bale is my favorite batman. i also think heath ledger did a far superior joker than mr. nicholson. he WAS the joker. there were some parts that just straight up gave me goosebumps it was so eery. but yeah, so i love this movie..i've already seen it twice and do plan to catch it again in the theater. i'd recommend it to pretty much everyone, even people who don't like batman movies. you just have to see it.

I waited 4 weeks to see this in IMAX & it was worth it. Usually, hype is just that...hype. But, not in this case. The cinematography in IMAX is breathtaking, especially the aerial shots of Batman standing on the ledges of the buildings. As for the storyline, there are so many back stories it's sometimes difficult to keep them straight. But that's the beauty of it...they all work out. The moral/ethical angles are interesting too; ie. Morgan Freeman & the cell phones. GREAT MOVIE...GOTTA SEE IT!

Loved seeing the caped crusader on the big screen and the scenes over Hong Kong were worth the price of admission. The movie did a lot of telling in laying out their moral universe -- I would have preferred that they just show it and let us decide ... the stadium seating was wonderful ...

The Dark Knight was definitely a movie worth seeing and definitely Heath Ledger's greatest performance. I have to say that the Joker MADE this movie because when I firest heard that Heath Ledger was playing the Joker, I couldn't picture it, but when I saw it, I DEFINITELY felt it. Everything he did was EXACTLY like the joker would do. It's a shame we won't see that sort of performance again :(. Great movie and everyone should see it! I even reccomend seeing it multiple times!

this was my first IMax movie and it was pretty damn good, yes I would suggest to all my fellow senior movie goers to check it out in IMax cause it was off the hook. I would like to see the mummy in IMax, can you'll make that happen?
