I had wantd to see The Dark Knight in IMAX, to see what all the hype was about. Although I try to see films in IMAX when possible, the fact that certain shots / sequences was both good and bad. The longer action sequences in IMAX were great and added greatly to the film. However at times it would take me out of the film when it was just an overhead shot of a skyline. I understand what was trying to be accomplished, I just felt it was unnecessary. As for the overall film I really did enjoy it. It was a very smart film and gives justification and reasons for both character desicions and why things may differ from the first film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
