I went to see the movie because I am a Stephanie Meyers Fan and have read all four books. My daughter bought three of her friends, all 11-13 years old who have also read the books. They thought it was the best moive they had ever seen. I liked it a lot, I love all the characters and Edward and Bella's chemistry together was just as I hoped it would be. If you are a Twilight fan, this movie is a MUST SEE!

I've seen the movie twice already, and as a fan of the series, I was thoroughly pleased with the film adaptation. I felt that the casting was spot-on and Rob and Kristen really did justice to the main characters. As far as the story goes, I really felt that it was faithful to the book, but I really felt that we were cheated with the meadow scene and with the introduction of Bella's lullaby. I wish the director had fleshed out these scenes a little more, especially since they were such an integral part in the book. But, apart from a few inevitable shortcomings, the movie really captures the love between Bella and Edward and leaves the door wide open and you salivating for some sequels in the near future. Would definitely see again and again.

Twilight, as a book was amazing, so I expected the movie to live up to the book's standards. For me, it didn't, but it was still a funny, cute, romantic, suspenseful movie. I'm going to definately watch the sequels in the nearby future.

I absolutely loved the "Twilight" movie! The chemistry between Edward and Bella seemed very real and intense and the movie was very similar to the book. This is a movie for all ages, not just tween girls. I'm 26 and consider myself a "twilighter!" I went with a friend who had not read the book and didn't know much about the story and she is ready to see the movie again and read the book! Can't wait for "New Moon!"

After being disappointed by several movie adaptations of book, and with as much as my son and I adored this series, I went in with the frame of mind that I was going to pretend I didn’t read the book and hopefully just enjoy a good movie. And it lived up to the hype. Everyone portrayed their role well, particularly Robert and Kristen. The chemistry between them was exactly what I pictured with Bella and Edward. And in addition to that, it was far funnier than I expected it to be. The first 20 minutes or so, the theater was full of laughter. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone, having read the books or not. It does not disappoint for a great movie going experience, and though not a carbon copy of the book, GREAT adaptation.

I loved it!!! They did skip some parts, but that was nessesary for changing a huge book into a movie. The over all plot was still there. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen!!!!! I still wish that they added more details and made it longer. It was very funny, had a lot of action, and many other genres in it. It was a fantastic movie; I can't wait for it to come out on DVD!!!!!!!!!

I truly enjoyed Twlight, the movie, as it followed the book so closely....which is rare.
Each of the actors portrayed their characters accurately and with a realness you could "feel". I must admit I had questions about Rob Patinson playing Edward, but I feel he did the role very well, his ability to show us Edward's feelings and the dilemma brought on by his love for Bella were accurate/believable.
I think all the actors involved in this film are remarkable and will continue to do good, believable work for our entertainment.
Catherine Hardwicke is to be commended on her portrayal of this book. Thank you.

Went in expecting it to be OK with a lot of inappropriate laughing, given the source material. Turned out to be better than anticipated. Glad it left out a lot of the fodder from the book, though I wish they had ventured out of the source material a little bit more.
Great to see a character like Charlie come to life, and actually be likable instead of just in the background. High praise to Kristen Stewart for making Bella seem more like a normal girl, and to Robert Pattinson for being able to take a character that's just so impossible and making him somewhat substantial. It IS really hard to look scary and beautiful at the same time, and I have to give him credit for trying his best to pull it off.

Loved these books and saw this movie with my daughter. I was expecting to be disappointed because of the critics reviews but ended up entertained. A few "serious" moments elicited giggles from the audience, but overall the crowd seemed to buy into this story enthusiastically.

Very well made, great cinematography. Overall a very good movie but could have done without the slow "romantic" scenes. There were several very long scenes where they would stare into each others eyes, not necessary. I would recommend the movie to the 12 through 20 age group.

I am not in the fan base that the books and movie seem to shoot for but I loved it all. I was a little disappointed that they cut so many things from the book and even changed some of the scenes that should have stayed the same but overall I was very pleased. I've been thinking about it since I left the theater and can't wait to see it again. Edward and Bella are wonderful, Rosalie was the bitch she is supposed to be and Emmett and Jasper were exactly like they should have been. Even Jessica was perfect. I can't wait for the remianing movies. There's even a cameo by Stephanie herself.

I thought the movie was fabulous. Unfortunatly I had other people telling me that I may not like it but THEY WERE WRONG. The actors did a great job and they grow on you even more as the movie goes on. I liked the little bit of comedy that was added. They could have made this movie 3 or 4 hours long and been able to cover more of what was in the book and people would still have been engulfed in it. The people in the veiwing I was in cheered all the way.

A lovely gothic little romance movie on the outside, thoroughly enjoyable if you read the series on the inside. Lots of detail kept to the book series...excellent. I definitely connected with all the teenage angst and humor presented...some cheesy moments but that is what growing up is all about. Some technical and makeup to be worked on for the next movie. All in all, the theater and myself enjoyed itself immensely.

I loved the Twilight books. I wondered if they could recapture the charactors accuratly,(as I loved them in the book), and they absolutly did. In fact, Jasper was so accurate, it provided a little humor. Bella and Edward were played wonderfully. The movie never dragged. It was action and adventure all the way. I loved it.

To all the people who didn't read the book, you miss nothing!! It was an amazing movie!!! To the book readers it was great too, but there are the little things you catch!! For having to fit the literary masterpiece into two hours it was AWESOME!!! I will see it again!

The movie was really great. I went on opening day and sat with a room full of screaming, hormone pumping, teenage girls who sighed, squeeled and giggled at every moment I would have if my husband hadn't been sitting right next to me. The casting was excellent (and I was a sceptic at first as no one could possible look as gorgeous as the Edward in my head) and the adaptation was really good, too. I think that it's best if you'd already read though. My husband thought that the story was a little shallow since he hadn't read them. I, on the other hand, was able to enjoy everything as I've read the books and know what each scene meant and was really entertained by the movie as a whole. I can't wait for the other three!

I took my daughter, her boyfriend and his grandmother to see this movie. Three different generations and we all loved it! Even though one of the main characters is a vampire, the movie wasn't gory or scary. It is beautifully done, with gorgeous scenery. You can take your teen to see it and enjoy it yourself!

Overall....LOVED the movie. I would pay to see it in the theater again and I will buy it when it's released on video. It could have followed the book a little more. Some of the key points in the book, weren't played up as much in the movie. Can't wait for New Moon the movie, I hope it happens.

My friend and I brought our daughters and a few of their friends who had read the books to see the movie. We hadn't read the books but heard a lot from our daughters. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was a beautiful love story with just enough mystery and action. We would definitely all see it again. Edward and Bella are adorable. The cast was well put together and the scenery was beautiful.

We all really looked forward to the movie version of Twilight -- and while we enjoyed the movie -- found some characters and some scenes unintentionally funny. (particularly Jasper glaring bug-eyed at Bella)
Go see the Movie -- it's beautifully filmed and has a genuine feeling of romance -- but be prepared to muffle your giggles so you don't get lynched by the teens next to you.

Movie was SICK! Can't really compare to the book, but usually movies never can. But if you sit back and enjoy it as its own art form, it's fantastic. Edward and Bella are cast really well, much better than I originally thought when I saw the trailers. The scenery is in line with the book. The action moves along. Reference to violence but not much blood really. Edward can save me any day!!!!
